वो झरोखा बेइरादा,

वो मशवरो के असबाब,

Those reasons for chats

वो अंदाज़-ए-बयां,

वो ख्वाहिशें बहिसाब,

That expression

वो ज़हरी हमसाया,

वो फूलो का ख्वाब,

That tryst with serpent (good & evil) of life

That solace in peace

वो सिपाही सा जज़बा,

That valour

वो मखमली फितरत,

वो एक खुली किताब,

That innocence 

That frankness,

वो तनहा लमहे,

वो राज़-ए-नकाब,

That solitude

Those untold stories

वो ज़बानो के मंज़र,

वो तबियत-ए-बेताब,

That versatility of speech,

That vibrancy & restlessness,

वो रफिको सी रौनक,

वो गुल-ए-आफताब।

That charm of a beloved,
