આ શતરંજની રમતના સહુ ઘોડા-હાથી,
ઊંટની ચાલે રમવું છે ને આમ-તેમ ભટકવું છે,
કોઈ સમય-સંજોગોને આધીન મજબૂર,
તો કોઈ સ્વભાવથી જ અદ્ભૂત'
રમત તો ખરી આ, પણ 'દાવ' કોને એ કોણ કહેશે?
