A Persona - Nutan Behl

It was a dull morning, I was quite anxious as to what to do now. No company to talk and go out. I was in another city to find a job there and was staying there in a rented flat.

 In the afternoon I heard the noise of a girl on my same floor, who was talking to the owner of that house. She had heavy luggage with her. So I assumed that she also is going to stay in the same flat. 

 After some time someone was knocking at my door, I opened the door and yes it was Priya, who had come to stay there. I asked her to come in. While talking I got to know that she had come in search of a job like me.

She said I don't know where to go for lunch here, can you suggest to me some good restaurants. So I told her that even I am going out for lunch, you can come with me if you wish, she said, " yes sure, I will get my purse and lock my flat door and come back. I too was ready, so we went together. I got a nice company. 

While eating lunch, we were talking about and getting ourselves introduced. I noticed her oval/ straight face and fine skin tone. , Her talkative and expressive eyes. And a natural good look without any makeup. She was a very soft-spoken and very cool person, just like me.

She reminded me of an old-time classic actress, who was my favorite. We finished our lunch and came back home and while coming back we stopped at one shop, to look for some snacks for dinner time. We got bread, butter and from the vegetable market, we got veggies for sandwiches. 

She went to her flat, I too came back and looked for some emails and job prospects through placement site from the internet. She too, after resting for some time, unpacked her luggage and arranged it. 

 It was dinner time, we didn't want to go out and we had some snacks and as decided we made all preparation for sandwiches as I had a sandwich maker too. we both had dinner. And there was no TV in our room so no entertainment. We were just chatting on different topics.

When it came to films and heroines of recent times and old times. And we were talking about all our favorite movies and actors and songs. And we named many actresses and actors like Sadhna, Vaijayanti mala, Nirupa Roy, Sandhya, Nargisji, Asha Parekh, Nutanji, Tanuja, Sharmila Tagore, Rina Roy, Meenakumariji, Madhubala, Jaya Bachchan, Rekhaji, Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi, Meenaxi Sheshadri, Punam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure to Madhuri Dixit, Juhi, Shilpa, Kajol, Karishma, Kareena, Ravina to recent times Aaliya, Aishwarya and many more and actors like Dilip Kumar, Rajkumar Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor to Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Khan and endless list that we can't take all names. 

We both agreed that old songs were classics and still so much liked and famous. Because of lyrics, singers, and most importantly is the expressions of hero -heroines used to be so good, natural, and solid. So we can't forget those songs.

About old times heroines, we both unanimously said that our favorite heroine is Nutan, due to her natural unbeatable beauty, simplicity and the songs that were picturized were all classics. She was calm and cool and very soft gentle voice and sound of how she talked.

Now it was getting late so Priya said, " ok now I should go to my room, you too need rest, shall meet in the morning ., good night ." And she went to her room and I was trying to go to sleep. But unknowingly I started rewinding about my most liked heroine, Nutan, and her old classic movies like Sujata, Seema, Saraswati Chandra, and those songs. 

She was perfect in all her roles, and natural beauty, gorgeous and respectful. It was difficult to separate her as a person and the role she played. She was lively and used to put her appropriate emotions. I could rewind the Sujata in her unusual and mature role, a romantic loving gorgeous Kumud Sundari of Saraswati Chandra, and that famous unforgettable song. Seema, 

She was equally good in Romance, mischievous, flirtatious, naughty, serious, and all kinds of roles that she played in almost 70-75 films she played. 

I don't know when and for how little time I got sound sleep, and how much time I was in flashback, rewinding the movies and roles of Nutanji. I heard that someone is trying to wake me up in the morning, I got up sleepily and saw Nutanji standing at my door, I got so happy and my astonished! It was Priya actually who was quite similar to Nutan Behl. 

And my morning became so pleasant and I thought that it was exactly the opposite of yesterday's morning. My day was made as it started so beautifully.
