The Stranger (Part-7)

Meera woke up in the morning and saw that her mother Sara is busy preparing lunch. She smiled at Meera and said, "wait, I will make coffee for you. I had already prepared the breakfast and will complete the preparation of lunch soon." Meera smiled back and sat there waiting for coffee. Meera knew today she has to go to the hospital to get her fitness certificate. Sara gave the coffee to Meera and told her to get ready for going to the hospital. Rima came there and said that she will with Meera to the hospital. Sara listened to her and said ok. Then all three of them finished their work in the bathroom and got ready. They had breakfast together and left the house. Sara took the bus to her school. Meera and Rima took an auto to the hospital. Meera could see from the corner of her eyes that the stranger mad man was looking at her and trying to speak hiding his face to someone something. They reached the hospital and waited for their turn to meet the doctor. Then Meera's name was called. Both Meera and Rima entered the doctor's chamber. The doctor examined Meera and said, "Now everything is ok. Only you have to be a little careful and avoid running or walking fast for a couple of months. I will give you the fitness certificate, please just give me ten minutes of time and wait outside. They will give the certificate to you."Meera thanked the doctor and came out along with Rima from the chamber and waited in reception. Then there was a call in the Ashok's mobile set and Meera picked it. It was a call from Ashok and he said, "Look Meera, I know you and your sister are in the hospital. You have been followed by two persons and they are waiting outside the hospital gate. So don't go out even your work is finished. I am sending a vehicle with one of our staff, who will pick you both from there. He will come to you and show you his id. Just wait there. After you reach home give me a call and we will discuss." Before Meera could say anything Ashok disconnected the line. Meera kept quiet and looked at Rima. She could now understand that her family is surrounded by problems, but she is thankful to Ashok for his help and support. Meera was thinking about this and saw the hospital staff come and hand her an envelope.

Meera opened it and found her fitness certificate. Then Rima stood up to leave the place, but Meera asked her to sit and wait. She told Rima that a friend is sending his vehicle for them. Rima looked at Meera with surprise and suspicion. After another twenty minutes, a tall man came near Meera and wished her by taking her name. He showed his id card. Meera saw the card had been issued by CBI. Then both Meera and Rima sat in the car and left for home. After reaching their place the stranger CBI officer asked Meera to wait as he will just get out and verify. Meera and Rima sat inside and waited for his signal to get out of the car. Then he asked them to come out. Meera thanked him and along with Rima came out. As both of them are proceeding towards their gate Meera could see another two persons in the disguise of beggar were with the stranger mad man and looked at them. Then they went to the corner to be inside a newly built temporary rest place. Both of them were looking like beggars, one is a man and the other is a woman. Meera and Rima opened their door and get inside their house. Before Rima could ask anything Meera asked her to go and have her study. Then Meera went to her room. She locked the room from inside and gave a ring to Ashok. As Ashok took her call, Meera thanked him. Then Ashok said, " Meera, the two persons who had followed you are now under our custody. We will interrogate and will try to know the details. Don't be scared. Already our two more officers have been deputed near your house in the disguise of beggers. All three of them will be in touch with us and protect you. Also, your mother is been well protected, don't be worried. You were asking me about your friend's cousin Ashis, he has been taken away by R K's person while he was returning from office. Our team is tracking and maybe by today evening will reach that place, where he was kept. We will watch and study, then will decide whether to rescue him or arrest him. This I can tell you tomorrow. Now you relax and get ready to join your duty from tomorrow. Bye. " Then Ashok disconnected the line.

Meera sat on her bed and got relaxed. Now she is feeling happy that her mother Sara is too been protected. Also, she thought of not discussing anything about Ashis with Sangeeta now. She wants to know more about Ashis and his activities and if possible will then let Ashok know about Sangeeta so that they can verify her. Meera wants to be very sure about everything. Now she has to take her each step very carefully. There was a mild smile on her face thinking about her and her family's protectors are all The Strangers.
