The Stranger (Part-10)...

Meera woke up early as she couldn't have a good sleep in the last night. The tension of her presentation of the project she is handling. The questions on people around her even her own assistants. The new job of Rima. She washed her face and went to the kitchen to prepare coffee for herself and for Sara, Rima. She was doing that, but still thinking about all these. Suddenly she thought about her accident, the kidnapping of Ashis, Sangeeta. All these had tensed her very much. While she was in her thoughts, suddenly heard the voice of her mother Sara. She asked her, " what happened dear? You woke up so early! What are you thinking about? I could see that you are bit in tension. Just relaxed and think positive. These tension will only spoil your entire day. You go and let me make coffee. " Meera looked at her mother and left the kitchen. She realised that what her mother told is the absolute truth. Then she closed her eyes and tried to focus on her today's presentation. Then she heard her mother saying while holding coffee cup in her hand, "Here is your coffee. Meera, you are more mature and intelligent. You know what's right and what's wrong. You too know what had happened to our family. So, I can only tell you that only concentrate on your work and try to avoid all other things. You and Rima are now everything for me. I can't see any of you in pains." Then Meera gave a smile and took the coffee cup from her mother. She hugged her mother and said, "Mom, today afternoon I have to give presentation on my first project after joining. This is one of the tough and important projects our company had assigned me. I was just thinking about that. Please don't worry, nothing will happen to us. You too relax now. I will be freshen up and get ready to go office." Then Sara gave a smile and left the place.

Meera finished her all morning routine work and get herself ready. Then she joined Sara and Rima on breakfast table. While having breakfast Meera said Rima, " Now my little sister is going to handle some responsibilities. You had grown up dear, I can't beleive. I am very happy for you dear. Mom is too happy for you. " Then Meera finished her breakfast and left the house with her working bag to catch the office bus. Sara and Rima watched her with smile and gave their best wishes.

Meera reached the bus stop and waited for the office bus. She could see her all three protectors very nearer to her place and busy in their acting. After few minutes the bus reached there and Meera walked into that. She took her seat. She saw both Bikash and Asit. They wished her. Meera just closed her eyes and tried to be relaxed. When the bus reached office, Meera opened her eyes with the jerk of the bus as it stopped. She got down and went inside office. After five minutes of making her comfortable on chair, she called both Bikash and Asit.

She looked at them and started discussing on presentation with them. She aaked them to be there with her during the presentation. Then she went to her boss Ajit's cabin and wished him. Ajit asked her to sit there. After a few moment he looked at Meera. Then Meera said, "Sir, would you like to go through the final presentation? It's ready with me." Ajit asked her to join the conference hall with presentation papers. Both of them sat there and Meera started her presentation. Ajit was watching it very carefully. After the end of the presentation, Ajit said, " It's wonderful Meera. I am very proud of you for your talent. Our company will definitely recognise your talent. I am sure this software will be an unique one and Ashok too today will be pleased. Well done Meera. Keep it up. Now I will ask the staffs to rearrange the sitting system for the meeting. In the mean time you just go to your chair and relax. We will have a great day today. " Meera and Ajit left the hall.

Then Ajit asked the HR department to arrange for the meeting. Meera returned to her chair. She just noted some points in her pad to discuss with Ashok separately. Then she asked the peon for a cup of coffee. She put the earphones and listened to her favorite musics. Actually these musics always used to give her peace and make her relaxed. The peon came with her coffee and gave her. She thanked him with a smile and took a sip of it. Both Bikash and Asit were watching her. After some time she heard the alarm for lunch break. Then Meera asked both Bikash and Asit to join her in lunch. All three of them started taking their lunch and Meera just casually asked them about their college, batch, etc. Then Bikash replied, " Madam we both are from same college and of same batch of pass-out students. You were our senior. When we joined engineering, the same year you passed and left the college. You were the topper and when we saw you here, were very happy to get the opportunity to work with you.

After completing our Btech we worked for different organisations and just three moths back joined here. Ajit Sir took our interview and selected. Actualy we both are bit nervous as this will be our first participation in such big project's presentation. But we will give our the best to assist you. " Meera gave a smile and said, " Wao, that's great. You both are feeded from my college. I am feeling like having a small reunion of our college students today. Don't worry. Everything will be fine. You both had done extremely well and I am sure will keep it up. Just relax and be confident. " They all finished there lunch and returned to their respective chairs. After a while Ajit came and asked Meera to be in the conference hall with her assistants as Ashok with his team will be arriving soon. Then Meera went to the conference hall with Bikash and Asit. The checked the projector and kept everthing ready for the presentation. Meera was anxious to see Ashok and other strangers. She was smiling with the thought of the activities of all the strangers and curious to know more strangers.
