Dr Nitya -X

This story is in continuation with Dr. Nitya part IX dated 02/10/2023

Chaitanya came home after his morning walk and told his mother that you were asking me about Dr. Nitya , so yes I would like to marry her and her consent is also there, as I spoke to her over the phone. To convince dad that this is your job now Amma, Chaitanya tells his mother so she agree. According to her she had given a hint about that saying let Chaitanya marry as per his choice. 

His mother just looked at him, that till yesterday he didn't reply and today he spoke to her and got her consent too. After all both are doctors and quick in their decision.

Chaitanya's mother and Nitya's mother speak about this in the afternoon, both were very happy as their secret mission was successful. 

In the evening Chaitanya and his parents were in living room and Chaitanya's mother take this opportunity to talk about Nitya. She tells Chaitanya's father that one more good news we have now to share , that day you told Chaitanya to think about his marriage and he immediately obeyed your order . So he asked, " who is the girl? so she says, ' his colleague Dr Nitya. '

Chaitanya's father had some idea but he didn't know that it has gone upto this level so he ask , if Nitya's parents are ready for this marriage? We are from Andhra they are from Trivandrum? Do their horoscope matches? So Chaitanya's mother tell him how she was secretly in contact with Nitya 's mother and they have no problem in fact they are very happy. After all Chaitanya is our son , he has all the good qualities in him . As far as matching horoscope then yes they do , very well . So Chaitanya's father gets convinced.

Chaitanya's mother go to kitchen saying, I will prepare some sweet dish too of Chaitanya 's choice , with dinner and Athvika will also come now so we will talk on this subject at the dinner table.

At dinner Athvika was very happy as she was going to get her sister-in-law. She start teasing Chaitanya saying , ' Anna you never shared this with me , I want to see her I mean meet her . ' so they decide to talk to Nitya on video call after dinner. 

For Nitya it was unexpected but she was happy seeing and talking to her to be in - laws . She was feeling bit shy but Chaitanya and Athvika made her comfortable. They all decide that next month Chaitanya 's parents and sister will go to Delhi so Nitya should ask her parents and sister also to come . So that everything can be decided about marriage date and all . 

Chaitanya tell his parents that he is not in a hurry to get married, first Athvika will get married then will me . But they says that we will decide by combined decision with Nitya 's parents . 

Nitya see one difference while talking to Chaitanya now is that it was not like earlier. They used to get quiet for moment while talking as though nothing is there to talk. As their friendship has got some name now. They had got an official stamp from elders . So now no tension or uncertainty, they were assured. The relationship was more mature now and so they couldn't talk like teenagers or classmates. 

Chaitanya's mother prepares some sweets and snacks for her to be daughter - in - law and ofcourse for Chaitanya. Athvika too purchase a gift for Nitya and she give that to Chaitanya. After two days Chaitanya had to leave for Delhi as his holidays were getting over .  

Chaitanya was thinking lying on the bed in night that will my marriage with Nitya be a success. Am I taking a right decision? We are in same profession and our services are unpredictable, It is not that we will be always together at one place ? How we will manage? Also I am the only son of my parents, Athvika will get married and go , though she will be in same city but it is my responsibility to look after my parents. So all this I have to discuss with Nitya in detail after going to Delhi.

Today Chaitanya had to go back so he was quiet, he was worried about his Amma and Nanna. He tells Athvika with love and affection that I know you are my best sister and a good girl but look after Amma and Nanna well and do keep in contact always . He also tell his parents to take their medicines in time and take good care of their health . Also regarding your coming to Delhi I will manage reservation and all you don't worry about that. 

His cab was waiting at the door. Chaitanya touch the feet of his parents and take blessings. Also shows his affection for Athvika by putting his hand on her head and shoulder. And he leaves for Delhi.
