Flying birds swept the sky with their colourful wings before swooping into their nest. Anirudh, an atheist zipped his exorbitant car through the busy road putting other motorists life in peril. Akin to the superstar he jumped out of his car pulling out his sunglasses to refrain from squinting. As he treads his way into the classroom, students widened their eyes mesmerized by his sumptuous clothes. His style was no less than a film superstar. He lived like a king all his life courtesy of his father's wealth. He had alienated himself from poor people as he believed they just does not suit his way of living. Many never tried to strike a conversation with him because they were oblivious to the impending horror which would follow. He often made fun of people who could exhume knowledge out of thin air through their spiritual consciousness. He termed them as hypocrites and enjoyed amplifying his arrogance. When someone took almighty's name he would spike their pain by slapping them and compelling them to say he is the only God in the universe. He even went beyond limits and challenged God to make him beg at his feet. He didn't realize the truth that he can be oppressed by God if he wants at any time. Entangled in the lust of the material world, he believed his money power would extricate him from all his crimes. He had a bunch of friends who were like yesmen who would nod their heads for all his remarks and at his behest would do what he decreed. Even birds feared to chirp fearing stringent punishment from the self-proclaimed God of the universe. No one had the guts to accost him.

One day Anirudh organised a drinks party for his friends. They all poured out liquor for themselves and seemed to have lost their decorum by creating ruckus in the bar. The poor bar owner could not confront the rogue Anirudh who would go nuts if rattled. Anirudh and his boys in an inebriated state wobbled through the road humming their favourite songs. A poor old man who stood at the bus stop with gnawing pain in his stomach became his target. The clouds had encroached on the sky to unleash their energy. The rain poured out incessantly to quickly inundate the roads. Anirudh who appeared in an ecstatic mood peered at the old man from top to bottom and burst into laughter. He hurled expletives at him and cursed him to die. The poor old man was affronted by the belligerent remarks of the minister's arrogant son. He told him that one day God would teach him a life lesson which in turn offended Anirudh. His eyes reddened in anger and he kicked the old man mercilessly showcasing his insolence. The old man reeled off dazed by the act fell on the slushy road. All his friends broke into wicked laughter looking at the old man who was struggling to scramble back to his feet. Eventually, one good Samaritan provided the required help to save the old man from further trauma.

Wallowing in the luxury provided by his material life, Anirudh looked unstoppable. One day, a holy seer who was close to God through his spiritual practices was in deep contemplation under a banyan tree. Anirudh who happened to inadvertently view him mocked him without thinking twice. He went beyond limits which opened the doors of his downfall. The arrogant slime completed a whole circle and was bound to break. The pain which was evasive all his life finally dawned upon him like a moth drawn to a flame. His credulous mind marred his life to relapse in its boundary. The flood gates opened to unleash the pain that had desperately waited to cling upon him. In a trice, a car with faulty brakes ran over him severing his left leg. He screamed on top of his lungs unable to bear the excruciating pain of losing his leg. Blood spurted out in all directions and he implored for mercy. For the very first time, he beseeched God to save him. He went through sleepless nights at the hospital bed with tears just refusing to subside. Subsequently, the hospital doctor amputated his leg. Many believed his bad condition is due to his bad karma.

The guy who roared like a lion challenging God was crawling like a rat in the hospital. The words from all directions pricked him hard as if they served as a bitter concoction to refine his heart. Anirudh who seemed irrevocable was finally endowed with a transformed soul that did not lean towards ego and money but rather on God and the plumbless essence of life. He undid all his terrible past through his selfless service to mankind. God always found a place in his heart and soul because they were now completely refined.

People gathered in large numbers were hooked as Anirudh expounded his life experience. There was neither an iota of arrogance nor any resentment as he patiently walked people through his life experience. He professed that God is everything for him in his life. He had lost miserably in front of God in his challenge.

"If I am standing here speaking to you guys it is because of the blessings of the almighty. I begged for forgiveness from my full heart expelling the poison which had been the reason for my rogue nature. Perhaps he could have denied my request and made me a beggar in the street or could have cursed me with unbearable leprosy. But he gave me a chance for survival. I am indebted forever to God for bestowing me with a chance that transformed my life forever. I have been a different person since that episode. The pain taught me what life is which in turn gave an access to the world filled with devotion. Today I am a motivational speaker who could influence thousands of people through my talks and I truly believe this wouldn't have been possible had it not been for the only infinite creative power of the universe."

Anirudh prostrated before the Lord portrait that emerged on screen and everyone stood and folded their hands in respect to the infinite creative power of the universe.
