Immortal Ring

In a jungle of aliens, there lived an old alien named Moghashu. He had a wife named Aguru, and a son named Bhera. He had possessed an immortal ring. As the name itself signifies, whoever possesses a shining ring would become immortal but will soon turn mortal if they lose it. So Moghashu had a herculean task to keep the ring under his possession. The coveted ring also had another significance. Anybody who carried the ring and uttered a word "Tornado" would create a tornado around themselves which had the power to break even a giant boulder and they would be immune to any fire or gun shots during that phase which would last for around fifteen minutes. After that, they cannot use that power for an hour. Other aliens respected Moghashu for his special power and his family lived happily in the jungle. Unfortunately, a giant alien named Pessa happened to learn about the secrets of the immortal Ring. He had an ugly face with a grotesque tooth, adding to his menacing charm. He made up his mind to steal the ring by hook or by crook, even if it meant to get rid of the family. Since he was giant and strong, he could physically get the better of any other alien.

One day, Pessa chalked out a plan to steal the ring from Moghashu's possession. He set out to a jungle accompanied by three of his teammates. Pessa only knew about immortality and was unaware of the tornado significance of the ring. He and his gang quietly observed the jungle far away. One by one, they made their way towards Moghashu's habitat. They hid behind a tree, hoping for him to emerge out of the house. Upon some time, Moghashu strode out of his habitat along with the immortal Ring. The villain aliens lurking behind trees decided to go for the kill. They caught Moghashu off guard, whose ring fell off from his hand. The giant Pessa quickly picked the ring, spawning a wide grin on his face. Moghashu understood the gravity of the situation and he had no other option but to fight back the giant. He was agile and had the knack of jumping like monkeys. He quickly jumped and kicked the ring off the giant's hand. Both of them tried to grab the ring. During the commotion, the ring got tosses in the air and landed into the mouth of an alligator. Pessa couldn't believe what he saw. Along with his gang, he surrounded the alligator in a bid to tear off its sturdy body. Three of them caught the alligator that made a desperate attempt to writhe. It became a herculean task to subdue the alligator that was on an aggression spree. The giant lost his cool before pricking it's both eyes with a weapon, making it blind. Then used a handsaw to dissect its body like a butcher. The ring would not melt even if it was submerged in an acidic solution. Moghashu was waiting for the perfect opportunity to grab the ring and there he went, collecting the ring inside the torn body of an alligator.
"If by any chance you had cut the ring, it would have lost its significance," Moghashu said while running.
Pessa looked livid. Moghashu hurled the ring towards his son and implored him to swallow it and run away from the spot. He also beseeched his innocent wife to accompany his son so that they won't fall prey to the villains. Initially, they rejected his plea since they did not want to desert him but had to oblige, sensing the danger which promised a complete wipeout of his family. He used chilli powder to distract the villains who, for a minute, couldn't see around, which helped Bhera to run away with the ring. Pessa roared like a lion, which reflected his soaring anger. Other aliens around did not even come out of their tent, fearing a massacre. He slit the throat of Moghashu, who died on the spot with no ring to save him. Pessa vowed to get back the ring.

Aguru and Bhera heard about Moghashu's death, which brought tears to their sensitive eyes. They thought Moghashu would be immortal but never expected such a twist in the tale. Aguru now had the onus to take care of the little Bhera, who had become immortal after swallowing the ring. At any moment, Pessa could arrive and cut his body to retrieve the ring. Aguru found it difficult to grapple with her husband's death. She had no intention to live but couldn't take the extreme step since she had a son to look after.
Their lives had been upended in a matter of a day.

The dense jungle looked menacing, with an eerie silence and perilous foliage. Nobody could make out what would emerge from dense foliage. Aguru and Bhera made a tent in a secluded place bereft of aliens. They both felt relieved in each other's presence. Bhera used the tornado trick to butcher through the boulders at an intense pace. He happened to see an alien lying on a heap of leaves, seemingly in trouble. He went to check on the alien who seem to be in an unconscious state. Bhera nudged him in an effort to wake him up. The alien seemed to convulse in fear, taking him aback.
"Who are you? Why do you look so afraid?"
"I am Penta. I saw giants killing my beloved parents yesterday. I escaped from their evil hands and fell unconscious here. Please help me."
"Do not worry. I am there to help you. Nobody can harm you. You can stay with us."
"Thank you very much!"
Both of them became friends. Bhera demonstrated his tornado power, which made his friend awestruck. Penta asked him to teach the skills so that he too can use it to save himself from the evils. Bhera said nobody could harm him as long as he was by his side, which brought a smile to his friend's visage.

Penta and Bhera explored the dense jungle together. The picturesque stream, the lush greenery, the sight of birds and animals cheered them up. Anguru had clearly asked them not to stray deep into the jungle. Both Penta and Bhera got rooted to a spot with their eyes transfixed on a large fall. The sound of the water reverberated around, sending chills. They seem to be gripped by the scenic sight that stole their hearts. Out of nowhere, Bhera sensed a needle injected into his body, which tranquilized him. Penta had an evil grin on his face as he waved his hands at the lurking aliens. Shockingly, Pessa and his accomplices came out as if they had signed a deal with Penta. They collected the unconscious body of Bhera and marched straight into their lab. Penta had betrayed Bhera on the pretext of being his friend. He had cooked up a story to project himself as an innocent alien to gain his trust. The moment he saw Bhera dispatched to the lab, he went to Anguru's tent. He used a wooden log and butchered the helpless Anguru to death.

Pessa placed the body of Bhera on a sophisticated bed. His body passed through a scan which signalled the presence of the ring. Pessa recounted Bhera's father's words following his dissection of the alligator. He compelled a doctor alien to cut the body and retrieve the coveted ring. He could kill two birds with one stone --- Killing Bhera and retrieving the ring to become immortal. His joy knew no bounds as he punched the air in delight. He promised his gang a wild celebration in the jungle to commemorate his immortal status. The doctor used his identity card to open the door of a room where Bhera was placed. He had been entrusted to dissect his body. The doctor alien injected a liquid which woke Bhera up.
"The monster has demanded me to dissect your body and retrieve the ring. I have woken you up, which he is not aware of. Since I have done a favour to you, could you do me a favour?" the doctor asked.
"By all means, doctor! You are my saviour today. What do you need from me?"
"I know you are immortal. Can you promise me to take care of my children? That giant monster would not show me mercy. He will certainly get enraged now."
"I have a special power and I will use it to take you out of this lab. You do not have to worry about your life. It is in safe hands now. I shall forever be indebted to you for saving my life and also, more importantly, ensuring the ring would not be under an evil person."
Bhera used his tornado power, and the doctor looked bemused. In an instant, he grabbed the doctor inside the tornado, which bulldozed through the lab door, grabbing everybody's attention.
"What the hell?" Pessa was pissed. "Fire the gunshots."
Nothing could control the tornado, which shattered the lab before disappearing. Pessa cursed at the doctor.

After saving the doctor alien, Bhera returned home only to realize that they had butchered his mother to death. He screamed on top of his lungs, letting the pain out. He became alone in the middle of the dense jungle. An injured Penta came to see Bhera. Before Bhera could widen his eyes, Penta thrust his justification.
"Pessa has killed your mother. I somehow managed to escape, but not without injuries. Thank God you have returned unscathed," he embraced Bhera.
"It was not Pessa who made me unconscious but you," Bhera fumed.
"Pessa had used a trick to fool you, brother. One of his alien has disguised himself to look like me. I was not there at that time. I spoke to your mother and even she looked surprised since she thought I went with you. Pessa has a lot of sophisticated machines in his lab which he uses as a leverage to do whatever he desires to do."
"Oh, sorry, my brother! I did not know the reality. I will not spare Pessa for what he has done to my parents."

One day, Bhera and Penta sat together gazing at the cooing birds on a branch of a tree.
"Since you told someone disguised like you to con me, I have a question?"
"What is that?"
"How to check the veracity of your identity? Are you Penta now or not?"
"I can understand your problem. I am the real Penta."
Before he could inject a liquid, Bhera held his arm. He knew what was coming.
"You cannot fool me this time, brother," Bhera used his tornado power to blast Penta into smithereens.
As expected, Pessa materialized along with his gang, expecting Penta to have pulled off the plan to perfection. But this time Penta not only failed to execute the plan, but also paid a price in the form of his life. Before Pessa could react, Bhera had resorted to tornado whirlpool. He destroyed Pessa and his gang in an instant, thereby avenging the murder of his family. After thwarting his enemies, he stood tall, being an immortal force of the jungle.
