The Stranger (Part-2)....

Meera got discharged from the hospital and came home. She was advised by doctors to take rest for another 15 days. Her company too asked her to resume her duty after getting the fitness certificate from the doctor. Sara taking care of Meera. Rima makes joke with her sister to cheer her up. When Meera was in school, she was doing very well in drawing. Then her Dad Mans get her admitted to the art &craft school. Meera developed her skill of doing beautiful art works. Actually in holidays, Meera used to do her artwork and painting. Now as she will be in home for 15 more days, she requested her mother Sara to allow her to do some painting. Sara was bit strict for the health of her kids. But lastly she allowed Meera to do the painting with a condition of maximum for two hours. Meera agreed and hugged her mother for this. Sara always wants to see both Meera and Rima happy.Sara had taken leave from school to take care of her Meera. Rima has now started to attend her class. She is in the final semester of her MBA.

Meera started her art work and painting. She first tried to remember the complete incident of the accident and started making the art. She was trying to think about all the persons, the road, the vehicles, the place of accident, and very particular moment of the accident, her crying for help, the moment of her rescue by the same stranger and everything. One after another she tried to make it more lively with the colors on the canvas. Anyone can look at it and say the real photo suit. This had taken her weeks time to complete. Still she was thinking that something is missing. She was searching for that in her memory lane. Sometimes for that she remains absent minded.

Now Meera told her mother that she is feeling better and can walk with a light support, so she should join the school. But Sara told her boldly that until and unless she will be completely fit and fine Sara will be with her. Meera knew her mother, she is very head strong person. On tenth day of her discharge from the hospital police inspector with another staff came to their house. Sara, Meera and Rima knew him. His name Dinesh Singh.Sara asked Dinesh to sit and came with Meera. Dinesh first asked Meera about her health and made some lighter chat. Dinesh was junior to Meera's father Manas. Meera knew about the reputation of Dinesh. The people of the town talk always the stricktness of Dinesh as well as on his corruption. Sara brought tea and biscuits and sat besides Meera. Dinesh took the tea and started asking Meera about the incident of accident. Meera repeats the same what she had told him in hospital.

Then Dinesh said, "Actually we are searching for the vehicle which had dashed your car. Our staffs are engaged in that. That day at check post due to the heavy wind flow some records of vehicles no was missed by them. Two staffs of check post are suspended for that. But Meera on that day where were you going to?"Meera now got a point of missing subject of painting. She returned back from her thought and said,"I was going to attend the birthday party of my friend, whose house was just after 5km from that place. My friend's name is Sanjana and you too had met him, she had told you regarding this. We were very close friends."Then Dinesh said with a smile,"Oh yes, she had told me. Then do you know the person who rescued you? Just think again and say?"Meera looked at her mother Sara and said, "No, how could I? I was unconcious . And it's your work to find it out, uncle. And if you trace the person, please let us know. We want to thank The Stranger."

Then Dinesh started to leave by saying, "Definitely Meera I will inform you. By the way still we are unable to know any whereabouts of your father our Manas sir. We all are feeling very sorry for that."Then Dinesh left their house and Sara closed the door.Meera could see her mother's angry face with tears in her eyes. She hugged Sara and kissed her on her forehead, she wiped the tears from Sara's eyes and said, "Mom, don't take this Dinesh uncle's words seriously. Let us all pray for Dad. I am sure that my Dad will be with us soon."Then both of them went inside.

Meera went to her room. Sara went to the kitchen to make food for dinner. Rima was busy in her study. Meera closed her eyes and tried to remember the number she heard from The Stranger repeatedly chanting while rescuing her. Meera was going unconcious at that time and the number was been loudly chanting by The Stranger. She focused for an hour and could able to get back to that moment. Now she could remember it and she opened her eyes and started to scribe on the note pad. After trying for two to three times she could write the number. There was a smile on her face. She went back to her painting and gave the final touch to it by painting that number at lower front of the vehicle. Then she was giving hearty thanks to The Stranger for doing all those things. She prayed God let her sense and thought be true to prove he was nobody, but her Dad...
