Raahil was two minutes elder than me. Mom used to tell us about the day we both were born. Dad took both of us in his arms and tears trickled down his cheeks, those were the tears of ultimate happiness. Me and Raahil were so identical that sometimes mom also had difficulties in recognizing us and we enjoyed being each other. Raahil was a good batsman, sometimes in a match when he got out early, we used to exchange our T-shirt and he used to bat for me, we won so many matches like that. Eventually Raahil became good in everything whereas I turned out to be a dull kid. The only thing I was good at was writing. I always wanted to be a writer which was not acceptable to dad, but mom always supported me.

After finishing 12th grade, we joined engineering college, the only difference was that Raahil got the seat by clearing the entrance exam, while dad paid a huge donation to get me a seat in same college and he was not at all happy about it. Four years in college passed quickly, Raahil overall development in these four years was exceptional, he got campus placement with a package of 15 LPA, a loving girlfriend Siya, nice friends, whereas I was still an introvert kid. In four years, I completed my novel but was not having any support to publish it. Dad had some links, I asked him to help me but he denied, after which we never talked.

The night Raahil got campus placement, we got a call from dad that mom was admitted in hospital, she was on dialysis. While we were going to the hometown, our car met with an accident. The next thing I remember was, I heard dad running towards ICU shouting Raahil's name repeatedly. I ran towards dad and hugged him 'Dad Sahil's head is hurt', we both cried a lot. Few moments later doctor came out with bad news. After few months mom also passed away, her last wish was to get Sahil's novel published, so dad used his links and published the novel, it became the bestseller of 2018. Dad spend most of his time drinking alone and cursing himself for not recognizing Sahil's talent.

It's been five years and now I am having a job that pays me 25 LPA, I married Siya whom I love so much now, life can't be perfect than this. The one and only regret of my life is that I CANNOT WRITE MY NEXT NOVEL.
