Being rebellious towards parents in teenage is very normal. You want to break all the shackles & mark your territory. Everyone usually have two parents but in my case it was only one, my Mom. No, my dad did not die, he was never there and by never I mean literally never. Till fourteen my dad was only a figurative image for me. My Mom lied to me for fourteen years that they both separated when I was two & he got remarried & was living in France. Till one day that my stubbornness to meet my dad irritated her to such an extent that she told me the truth that I was a test tube baby & that she actually got married to girl she was in love with. My whole world turned upside down, I left my home & started living as a Paying guest. I also got a job as a delivery girl for Dominos by faking my age certificate to manage my expenses. The thought of my mother being with another women made me puke. I had this secret inside me for twelve straight years, till the day of my marriage when I told my husband about my mom. First he was shocked as all these years I told him that I lost my parents in a car accident but later on he came to terms with me as he understood what I was going through. I also convinced him never to ask me to meet my mom.

I realized this but this time I was on the other side of the table & it was me against my daughter. It was on her 18th birthday when she told me that she liked girls. All those thoughts that I suppressed all these years were staring right at my face again. We did not accept her, we house arrested her as we thought she was in a bad company. But later when we took her to psychiatrist, sexologist & lot of counselling & reading on the internet made us realize it was not because of bad company, it was a DNA thing & there is nothing wrong with her. That night I went to my daughter's room & told her about her grandmother, I broke in her arms as I realized my mistake. Next morning all three of us went to meet my mother, but it was too late. Same morning she died in her sleep peacefully. She had left a note for me.

We performed all the rituals & buried her next to my other mom. Though I never had chance to say this to her but now only I understood how lucky I am as I can say 'I HAD TWO SUPER MOMS'
