Blind love

                   There was young man who was just born after independence in the village. He had three sister having a little land. Since family was very poor, his parents would work in his own land as well as in others land for wages. They lived from hand mouth. On many occasion, they would live off the fat of the land for survival. As they had some good vision, they therefore sent their son into school for education. Otherwise they could have asked him to work with them for bread and butter. They thought that they shouldn’t miss the forest for few trees. He had completed his matriculation and other supporting training like draftsman’s course. Every dog has it’s day. He was appointed as draftsman in the public works department of state government. The financial condition of family started growing stronger and stronger with the time. He discharged his responsibilities of family like marriages of his three sisters on priority basis. Later. when he was slightly over age, his parent get him married. Fortunately he had only a son. He had constructed his own home during his job. Being social, he would try to participate in various functions in the community.

His son had a little affinity towards education. Howsoever, he had completed his matriculation. His parent was ready to continue his further higher education, but he was not at all interested in education thereafter. Though he had no bad habits, but he was not so worthy to earn some money by doing any job. Infect he was couch potato. His father tested him many times by giving several opportunities as per his education but he failed to deliver any fruitful outcome .At last ,His father opened some small shop for him in his home so that he would be busy. But he hadn’t shown the keen interest in running the business. Some elders gave his father suggestions to put some additional responsibility on his shoulder. His parent get him married with fairly educated girl. She was as irresponsible as he. She couldn’t brought any changes in him so that he would be motivated to do some job for earning their bread –butter as it was thought. Being vary lazy couple, they were a real burden on the master of family. Since he was an apple of parent’s eyes, parent was cold shoulder to their activities for the time being. 

          After some years, his daughter –in-law asked the owner of house to pay them rent amount of rented blocks. They asked to split the family for independence. Looking at the grandson, they permitted to do. Still the separated family was not doing anything for earning. Since they had an affection towards their grandson, they would provide some more financial assistant by curtailing their own family expenses. But his son and his wife would not loyal to them. Their demands were increasing for money many fold day by day. There was a blind affection and love for their son’s family. His son kept a new proposal to his parent for raising more financial funds. Since his home was on main road within the market and heart of the town, he suggested him to sell the home. His parent should give their share in the received amount. As it was of no use crying over the split milk, blind love compelled parent to do so. They did it. His son purchased the new cheap plot at some remote place in the town. He constructed the home and kept some money in fixed deposit for regular fixed income instead of doing any business or job.

             In the beginning ,the whole family was staying to gather in the rented house before construction of new house. When the construction of new home completed, his son with his family shifted in their new home leaving the parent in the rented home. They were still happy as every cloud has silver lining. They thought that his son would do something for his family. His father had an accident two-three times due to old age. He had an major bone injury in his legs having a long bed rest. Neither his son nor his family bothered about them. His son would always blamed his parent for not making any conformable huge wealth for him.

As time rolled, there was financial crises in the family of son as the family’s expenditures increased. Family’s fixed deposit income get reduced due to decreasing interest rate and growing inflation. The additional expenditures such as school, maintenance of home, tax, electricity and so on. Instead of finding new source on their own to meet money, they rushed towards their parent. They didn’t take care of them when they were facing health problem due to accidents time to time .when they recovered from the health crises. they took them to their new house. Their main goal was to use their pension for overcoming their financial crises. Parent was still cold shoulder to their blunder. The blind love of parent towards bad apple made them ready to have company of son’s family. If his parent expired, What would happen ?. How would they manage their financial requirement without pension in future. Neither son’s family nor his parent thought over it.
