Raghu stood in front of a large opulent mansion embellished with diamonds and jewels, which was a sight for the sore eyes. He feasted the sight of archways glistened with diamonds. He strode along the long corridor wreathed in red carpet as if a grand Oscar ceremony was to be materialized. The tall boy was offered this mansion by none other than God himself. His eyes quaffed the artistic splendor of the mansion. This was nothing short of a paradise. He stood motionless to behold the spectacle of unparalleled grandeur. His blissful musings were interrupted by a pigeon that perked over his shoulders. The white pigeon seemed to have emerged from the milk pool which was apparent in its color. The swimming pool ahead reflected the grandeur of the mansion. A huge coconut tree looming large behind the mansion as if acting as its bodyguard.

Like a prince of the palace, he graced the red carpet in a slow-motion with flowers peppered over his grandeur body wreathed in glimmering attire. Two aliens greeted him inside the mansion and motioned him to ascend the golden throne. An instant coffee materialized in front of him to hover over the air. He picked the cup of coffee and savored its taste with closed eyes. It tasted like nectar to satisfy his tastebuds. Before he could order food, a plate of noodles appeared on the table which made its request for him to have it. Raghu binged on noodles as if he had never eaten before. Two aliens fanned him to ensure coolness clung to his bones. He was enthralled by the hospitalization endowed in this new mansion. Some of the aliens in the persona of sages appeared to expound on the spiritual literature which gratified him. The odor of roses wafted through the air and the alien bodyguards endowed him with unassailable protection. At the behest of God, Raghu was able to forsake the earthly life to foil the plans of his villains and then earned a chance to enjoy the luxury of the mansion. The mansion was created as it was envisioned by the almighty, exclusively for his devotee Raghu who through his deep meditation had won the heart of the lord. Wallowing in the pleasure of the mansion, Raghu had a ceaseless smile on his face.

One day, a villain named Bony happened to detect the location of the mansion. He desperately wished to cease the joy of Raghu and be the king of the mansion to savor its luxury. His appetite to usurp the mansion continued to grow as he witnessed Raghu enjoy the royal treatment. He abducted an alien and impersonated himself to be the guard of Raghu. His modus operandi was to mix poison in the food and ensure Raghu consumes it to rest in peace; only then the aroused hatred within him would quench. One day Raghu swam in the swimming pool which spread rose fragrance to keep him delighted. Bony, in the guise of an alien guard, quickly mixed poison in the food which was to be served to the master of the house. Raghu jumped out of the swimming pool and donned sumptuous clothes before making his way to the dining table. He drooled upon gazing at the plate of poisonous noodles. Bony had been able to obscure his plan from the eyes of his nemesis. He waited with bated breath to see his enemy spewing blood. His face beamed with a smile the moment Raghu picked up his fork to eat. His joy diminished when Raghu asked the disguised Bony to have the noodles.

Perturbed and perspired, Bony’s tummy manufactured toxic juices courtesy of heightened anxiety. He tried to abstain from having noodles, but Raghu was relentless. Raghu was unaware of the conspiracy hatched by Bony; he was forcing him to have noodles just to see his guards receive the same treatment as him. In the heat of the moment, Bony’s mask fell to reveal his real countenance, much to the surprise of Raghu. Before he could run away, Raghu caught him and imprisoned him for his criminal acts. Dangerous insects continued to prick Bony to quaff his blood and devour his flesh, only to leave him in bones. Anyone who ventured to kill Raghu would meet with the same fate.

Following the death of Bony, no one ventured to test the master Raghu, who seemed to be blessed by the almighty himself. One day, the Lord Himself, in the disguise of a cobra, ventured into the mansion to test the master. The glittering and unconventional look of the cobra frightened the aliens, who ran away instead of guarding the king. The cobra slithered into the kitchen and conjured magic, which dematerialized all items in the kitchen. When it graced the walls, all diamonds disappeared.

The cobra waited with bated breath to see the reaction of Raghu, who was now losing luxuries churned by the mansion. It crawled toward him and raised its hood against his calm face, steeped in tranquility. The hissing sound of the snake neither perturbed him nor perplexed him. He chanted hymns of almighty with folded hands. A smile brushed past his lips as he prostrated before the cobra. He said he would relinquish the pleasure endowed by the mansion if it was the order from the lord. A halo appeared behind the cobra’s hood as it quickly transformed itself into a lord himself who was a vision to behold. All the lost and broken items reverted to their original state. The entire mansion shimmered in the devoted presence of the lord. The lord gently struck his hand over Raghu’s head, which surged bliss through his body effortlessly as he closed his eyes, steeped in ecstasy. All aliens retraced their steps back to the opulent mansion to serve their master. The ripened fruits enveloped the mansion to glorify the presence of the king.

Raghu’s mother poured cold water to jostle her son back to reality. The perplexed look on his face depicted how badly he was missing his opulent mansion which existed only in his dreams.
