That is where I Want to be
That is where I Want to be
In the midst of the dark hour, we sat on the terrace, staring the starlet sky while some white fluffy birds circled around the cloudless night. It has been a while since I, and my sisters conquered some quality time.
Meha, one of my sister, broke the silence, “Sometimes, I can’t help but think how does it feel to live in some foreign country and earn. The lavish lifestyle and roaming around the countries in the weekends, camping in some random forest; makes me feel loss of goal here.”
Kavi joined, Also, they get to live in wooden houses. I so wanted to live on those big stored houses, and meet new peoples every day, talk with them about their cultures; celebrate the Halloweens with home filled of pumpkins and flowers, fake spiders and my favorite one is getting those natural scented candles; I’ll decorate my home with candles and lilies around each corner. What about you, Dia?”
I replied,
“I wanted to live in the midst of the grove filled with long pine trees, besides the house I wanted a huge deep lake; these star-larks will reside there. Every night, when I will sleep in the terrace those will fly just like tonight. But, with all these dreams I feel complete right now…”
Both amused and irked at me, “Look at us, I am in love with this moment, the beautiful sky on the top of us and my love sleeping peacefully right in that home; I could watch him….”
I pointed them to the house which was right across the street from us where the man I loved was asleep, “…and sisters, we are together. If one of us went to some other country I doubt to be as happy as I am right now. This moment is my dream’s foreign country; this is my world…”
Both of my sisters overwhelmed with my speech, hugged me and again, we saw the birds circling around us; I checked out the terrace of another house across the street where Paar lived where he was asleep deep in his dreams.
