Forever, A Beginning Again

The clouds roamed through the sky, free from the burden and small as cotton. Shinning through the sunlight and welcoming the warmth of sunset. Around six years ago, during the period of this warmth, he first confessed,

   "I love you."

  He intrigued me with his velvety voice and made me surrender through his big brown eyes that still sparkle watching me. The love birds that sprinkled purple over their beautiful nest along with warmth and love seemed more like the beginning of my home. 

  Today as I watch this similar sunset through the invisible hills that touch the sky, making the sun gallop for the last time. He took my hand, breathed the cool wind, and put a beautiful ring on my finger. All the mistakes, forgiveness, fightes, promises melted into my hand with one promise of forever. Again, he hypnotized me with his eyes that shined brighter than ever, making me wonder how this blessing bestowed on me? He, with his velvety voice and matured tone, asked,

  "Will you marry me?"
