Ploughing...
Ploughing...

A pair of bullocks, a farmer and the plough... How easy it is to define " ploughing "! The work is not as easy as it looks. There is a lot of factors that need to be taken care of. I discovered this only when I actually placed myself at the farmer's position.
Never had I gone to the field and worked but this pandemic lockdown gave me this opportunity. That was the day I saw my cousin ploughing and I asked him to let me plough. He gave it to me but I found it difficult to handle. The first thing I discovered
was the words used to communicate with the animals. I don't know which language those words belong to but they are fascinating. The animals understand them well. Well, "hoom! " means to stop, "bhida! " refers to the left bull and "hijja! " refers to the right bull.
All that is not enough. How to remove the "pal" from the plough is not an easy task for a new user. And many more tasks look easy but aren't. This easy looking task taught me that things aren't easy. Such new incidents inspire me to write.
