Dear Diary,

I got a call from Ishan who is resident and citizen of USA by birth. He told me that they are not coming out even for the essential purchase. As such, there is no concept of neighbors like in India. Essential items are delivered at the doorstep not by the government by the amazon and other online platform. He remembers his days in India where he worked as Part-time French Teacher. He managed his classes well. He was very happy to work as a Teacher and especially he got an opportunity to correct notebooks. He asked a question, whether we all going to die?

I don't have an answer for his question. At times, we feel completely helpless. There were place like Church, Temple and Mosque but now these places are also converted as Hospitals. .

Attended a webinar on the topic "Preparing a robust system in education and public health after the lock down in different states and regions"

Panelist talked a lot but no one talked about a robust system in education after the lock down. Most of them were worried about the fee collection, admission of students and presented vague arguments of trust deficit in between private schools and the government. There are people who are contributing a lot for the welfare activity and doing charity by donating cash or kind. They have understood that if they can not carry on this amount or property with them. They will have to leave everything here. But there are some greedy people they are thinking this is the good time to retrenchment, send the employee on long leave without salary and they are also expecting huge package from the government. Government is also following the pay cut policy for a year or two. There is lot of insight into it. Night, darkness, greed, selfishness, illness, poverty are deepening not only in India but to the other world. I have sufficient ration for few days. There may be many more stuck here and their and are shattered and sad.

Tess Nyman is talking about Human in HR. She is talking about the employees. She gave very good suggestions for HR professionals and Managers. This is the time for empathy. Rivers are changing, more clean water, oxygen, fresh air something good is also happening. Better not to eat from outside for few months. People are engaged in cooking. Maids are not coming so people have started working.

At times I feel, whatever I am seeing is part of dream. I never imagined, that the streets in Mumbai,Gurgaon and Bangalore are calm and there is no movement.
