 I have two birthdays. I was borne on 9th February whereas 1st January is shown in all academic records. Can't say, whether it is formal or formality, I get lot of messages from company and all financial institutions, wishing me happy birthday and birthday offers. My aunt use to wish me on 9th February only and soon it became known to my wife and children. But, I don't celebrate my birthday. No formalities and strictly no function. I am part of birthday celebration every day. Anu celebrates her son's birthday every month. This is latest trend. Small party where she invites her son's friends and ensure that everybody gets a return gift. Once, everyone leaves Wbluji starts opening gifts and prepares a list.

Last year, Priest of the temple declared birthday celebration of The Temple. There was cake cutting celebration and the Dance party followed by Burger party. Temple's birthday? I was surprised to see the list, demand and huge budget for this unique birthday. I was helpless and I do not have much option. People were enthusiastic about Temple's birthday. Yes, there were return gifts which were sold out by the priest next day onwards. Again this year, Temple committee approached for the birthday celebration. They have suggested to celebrate birthday every month.

Top management decides- No more birthday celebration!! No more for Temple birthday!! People are disappointed as they were planning to introduce a new list of birthday celebration of all department; civil, mechanical Instrument, account, HR, IT, Security etc. It was suggested that they can organize birthday on contributory basis and birthday celebration continues in a very simple manner based on contribution and sponsorship from individual enthusiast. Donate please!! We will have burger party or Burger prasad only condition is, you have to contribute.
