Psychic Power

Psychic Power

An ominous wind blew across the hills facilitating the fierce movement of branches of multiple trees. The curtain of clouds was pulled aside, giving rise to the emergence of the sun God. The scenic hill offered a breathtaking view of nature. The stream of sun rays warmed the blades of grass that had been peppered with dew. Manveetha and Anand had ventured into this amazing hill along with their son Jeevan. All three of them used jackets as leverage to abate the winter coolness. Manveetha's long, lustrous hair was tied into a ponytail, which was complemented by a pair of black sunglasses and a black cap. Anand and Jeevan, too, had donned sunglasses and a cap so that their body was not exposed to the cool wind. In the last few days, the couple had observed some changes in their son's demeanour which prompted them to plan a trip. Little did they know that their son had psychic abilities. He was different compared to other kids.

Anand had booked a room in the lodge for a two-day stay. After drinking the elixir offered by nature in the daytime, they got back to their room in the evening. They looked famished. To satiate their hunger, they gobbled up a sumptuous evening meal. Upon having a meal, Jeevan strode into the bathroom only to get freaked out which alerted his parents. They quickly scampered off near the bathroom only to see their son standing alone with fear rousing in his heart.

"What happened?" Manveetha looked perturbed.

"There is a ghost over here," anxiety crept through his heart.

"Where is the ghost? Nowadays your behaviour is so weird. Ghosts do not exist in real life. I think you are consuming content about ghosts. That is why your mind is playing a trick with you," Anand tried to console his son.

"I will make my son chant Hanuman verse daily," Manveetha said.

Jeevan recited the Hanuman hymn before going to bed. He knew he had seen a spirit that was not visible to the naked eye. Since he had tremendous psychic power, he could see it in his bare eyes. He did not understand why only he could detect the ghost when his parents could not. He gazed at the blades of the fan that went into a spinning spree.

"I am feeling cold," he remonstrated.

Anand flicked off the fan switch as the blades of the fan came to a standstill.

They reached home after a five-day tour. This tour was primarily planned for their son since his behaviour had changed over the last week. But the tour did not have any impact on their son who still was behaving oddly in their eyes. Jeevan went outside his house and encountered a spirit. He gathered up his courage and tried to strike up a conversation with the spirit. The spirit cried because it made several attempts before to grab the attention of the people but failed to do so. This time, someone is giving it much-needed attention. Anand and Manveetha caught their son talking to a tree outside in the garden through the window, which raised their heartbeats.

"What is wrong with our son? I am not sure why he is behaving so weirdly nowadays. This is not expected from children," Anand looked anxious.

"Why don't we visit an astrologer to understand his birth chart?" Manveetha requested to which her husband obliged.

Both of them rushed outside and called their son by his name thereby obstructing the conversation that was about to begin. The spirit cried again as Jeevan went back inside.

Manveetha and Anand visited a powerful astrologer who had a knack for accurately giving information about a person based on his horoscope. He had been practicing astrology for over thirty years so he had the backing of his experience. The couple resorted to silence as they saw the astrologer reading the horoscope of their son. The astrologer closed his eyes and chanted a mantra and discerned the pattern of the horoscope. The couple shared apprehensive glances at each other. Fear on their face was conspicuous.

"Your son has psychic abilities. He is not like other children. He is a powerful kid," he said.

"Is that going to affect my son?" Manveetha asked.

"Psychic abilities are like a double-edged sword. Your son did have psychic power in his previous life too. But he died in mysterious circumstances. He also seemed to have asked for an early death that resulted in an abrupt ending to his life. His third eye was already opened in his previous life. He was initiated by a powerful guru. You will understand the purpose of his life as time rolls by. Accept your son the way he is. He needs your constant support to evolve or else he may slip into depression and may soon die."

His words sent shivers down their spine as they found it a bit difficult to come to terms with the reality. They also understood the significance e of proper parenting which is very much needed to shape the growth of a child.

Manveetha and Anand had made up their mind not to deter their son from what he wished to do following their visit to the astrologer. They understood that it was their duty to accept their son the way he was rather than trying to bring out a forcible change. They knew it would be an onerous task to deal with him but had a conviction that everything happens for good. Jeevan could tune to the frequency of the spirit world, which gave him access to see the spirits that otherwise were not visible to the naked eye. His heightened intuitive skills made him understand the complex patterns of the world with ease. Jeevan continued to behave differently, unlike other kids, as he grew and became more mature. His parents sometimes couldn't grapple with his behaviour but never abandoned him. Jeevan had now become a handsome young man who had mastered the art of meditation. His interest gravitated towards spirituality which

he wanted to use as a foundation needed to build great things in the world. He lost his father owing to a cardiac arrest, which broke him for some time, but the power of meditation healed him swiftly.

One day, Jeevan stumbled upon a ghost who got frightened upon seeing him. Jeevan quickly identified the ghost who had orchestrated his death in the previous life.

Previous life Anecdote:

Jeevan was initiated by his guru and his third eye was opened at the age of 20. Since Jeevan had a different personality throughout his childhood, it had a devastating impact on his life. His parents and also his relatives could never understand or reconcile with his thought processes. They had perceived him to be an abnormal child and constantly worried about his future. Only his uncle's daughter understood him. They both shared a good rapport. This made Jeevan ask for an early death, which he eventually manifested at the age of 21. Even though his parents understood the significance of his life purpose rather lately, he had already planted a seed of early death in his mind. He always felt the pain of others and never harmed anyone. Despite his asking for an early death, he vibrated with higher energy. One of his relatives couldn't digest his spiritual growth. His power to read the minds of people appeared like a lump in his throat since he had done worse things to people's backs. He knew one or the other day Jeevan would expose him in front of the whole family. So he hatched a plot to eliminate him from the family. When Jeevan was travelling in a car, he orchestrated an accident that ended the former's life. His excitement knew no bounds, and he seemed to have gotten carried away. He lost control of his vehicle and fell off the bridge. He had not completed his entire lifespan. Also, he had no inkling that his daughter was in the same car in which Jeevan was travelling. Owing to his misdeeds, he became a spirit and begged for mercy, but no human could see him through his naked eye unless they had powerful psychic power.

Current life:

"You are the one who orchestrated my death. You couldn't complete your full lifespan. By virtue of it, you are now roaming like a spirit," Jeevan grabbed the spirit's attention.

"I never thought I would get a chance to apologize to you for the sins I committed. I was clouded and blinded. I beg your mercy," it pleaded.

"I hope I could help you out but the laws of karma will come into the picture. You will have to bear the consequences of your karma. I don't have any animosity towards you. Let you complete this spirit avatar and come out as a refined human being," he wished the spirit good luck and disappeared out of his sight.

Jeevan inadvertently happened to meet Reema, who too possessed psychic abilities. They bumped into each other as if the destiny wanted them to bind together. They instantly identified each other, and their smile spoke volumes about their previous story. Reema was part of Jeevan's family in the previous life. She was none other than the daughter of Jeevan's uncle who plotted his kill. They both were supposed to marry each other in the previous life itself but the unfortunate circumstances materialized to counter the destiny. What had been an incomplete story in the previous life is going to be complete in this life. It was inevitable. They both took blessings from their parents, who, too, were overjoyed as they had a constant worry about their children's marriage owing to their psychic abilities. They tied the knot in a simple ceremony, and both of them vowed to work for the welfare of human society. They refrained from misusing their special powers and rather channelled them towards the betterment of society.

One day, when both of them were spending time in deserted hills, a few evil spirits tried to harm them. Unfortunately, their modus operandi to scare the shit out of them went down the drain. Both of them had done deep meditation and were vibrating with higher energy. Had they been vibrating with lower energy, they would have fallen prey to the evil spirits. Since they had done good karma, the evil spirits could not harm and they admitted their defeats. Both of them felt comfortable spending time with each other since their thought process perfectly matched. It was pretty easy for them to determine why some celebrities were losing steam in their careers while others climbed to the zenith point. Some had asked for luxurious wealth and fame in return for deteriorating health. There was always a price paid for what they demanded in life.

Jeevan broke into tears when he could see the future of his mother. She was about to die in ten days as per his calculation. His mother had been his backbone who supported him in all his endeavours. She was there with him through thick and thin, irrespective of the situation. She cared and showed colossal affection despite him being different, unlike other children. Reading the future can be an exciting ride but reading the future is also painful at times. His emotions poured out of his face when he saw his mother's body lying motionless on the bed. She had repaid the debts which she carried in this life thereby ending the connection with Jeevan. It took some time for him to overcome his mother's demise. As they say, time is the best healer. His wife's presence healed him quickly.

People slowly understood their special powers and appeared at their doorsteps. Both of them helped to fix the problems of people. They both were healers. Healing people and making their lives joyful was their motto. Very soon they went global as well. They were recognised by the people across the nooks and corners of the world and were regarded for their psychic powers.
