Prayer

Prayer is only a bridge to contact the auspicious God. That's why a seeker says:

 Lord teach us how to pray.

 Prayer is the soul's sincere desire,

 Uttered or unexpressed,

 The motion of a hidden fire

 That trembles in the breast.

 Prayer is the name of the heartfelt feeling of the soul.

 Prayer is the name of the fire inside the heart.

 There is no need for any mantra, nor tantra for that.

 Praying is to request the true feelings of the heart at the feet of GOD.

 That is why the Lord Himself says in the Gita:

 Mayorpitmanobuddhiyo mad bhakta sa main priyaḥ.

 Tie your mind at the feet of GOD, everyone's conclusion is this. This is the essence of all the scriptures. This is the root of all sadhna.
