Covid, The Biggest Pandemic

The current situation, the situation of the Pandemic, has shaken the lives of everyone. Let be a common man or a celebrity, no one is safe and assured of his life the very next day. 

The situation which has taught people to value their family, the situation which has taught people to value front-end warriors. 

The situation which has brought enemies together, the situation which has separated dear ones from each other.

The situation which taught us how the crowd can kill somebody, the situation which has taught how being alone can save someone

The situation which supported nature, the situation which brought back stars in the sky

It was a situation with so much good and so much bad happening for everyone around

Many lost their dear ones and many became friends

When I look into this situation, my mind thinks about what I gained and what have I lost

This was the best time I could spend with my family. After marriage, I could hardly spend a week yearly with my family. But, during this pandemic situation, I was blessed to spend a whole year with my parents. The attachment which was getting lost being with parents for so long sparkled again after so many years. Each day was a blessing with them, getting so much love and care from them, talking to them for hours, serving them. It was like a life rejuvenation, the life which had become so materialistic moving from office to home and back to the office, suddenly started blooming with the love and guidance of parents. Their sharing of a bucket of experience was the best to learn. Not only it was a precious time for me, but even for my child who was learning the rituals and sacraments from grandparents. This was the time when my child actually understood the real meaning of family and their values. The grandparent's play and nighttime stories were what he was enjoying. Each time spent would become a memory, the lifetime memory which will remain in his heart forever and will give him confidence that he is not alone, but packed with so many family members who love him much more than his parents. 

It was the best time of my life because we came close to our family after being apart for years and you realize the value of someone only after being apart. I really felt being blessed, blessed with a loving, caring family who gave me much more than what I deserve.

Though, this situation had been really tough even, with everything shut down. 

To reach out for daily utilities and food was really challenging. To reach out for help in this situation was really tough. Right from quarantine the things to being quarantined ourselves, all was hard to be followed. The roads were empty, the shops were closed, no one to see, no one to talk to. It taught us how alone we are in the midst of this big world. 

The pandemic has taught its own lessons. I pray we all are safe and this situation ends up soon for everyone to enjoy the fearless life !!!!
