Hidden Love

People say that souls themselves select their family

If this would have been in my hand, I would have definitely selected another sister .... ahhh... 

Since birth, when I suppose I was not even knowing what sister really means, I used to hate my elder sister

Not because she was elder to me, but because I was not blessed enough to buy new clothes and had to always wear her old clothes ...

Once a year, I was allowed to buy new clothes and that was on my day of birth.

I had to paddle the old cycle of my sister and had never been privileged to have a new one of my own

I was  not allowed to do anything which my sister had not done as that was not done by her and so it should not be done by me; my sisters path to be followed was what I was forced to do

Whenever there was some glitch, my sister being more experienced in mischief, I was always been focused by my patents for all scolds ... ahhh .. poor me!!!!!

She was the one whom I hated the most until I found the hidden elder's sister love in her.

It was a good sunny day and, my sister and my cousin's brother were returning from school. 

Suddenly, my cousin started making fun of my heavy physique. I never liked people making fun of me for being healthy. 

I just moved my head low and kept walking.

Suddenly, I could hear a shouting voice coming from behind

I just turned back.

Ahhh!!!!! .... astonished.... it was my elder sister who was scolding my cousin very badly for making fun of my physique

It was a big surprise for me !!!!!

Soon the walk from school bus stop till house ended and we reached home. 

After having lunch, my sister came to my room 

Could still see the uncomfortable expression on her face which came from my cousin's statement about my physique. 

With a very firm voice, she said, "If anyone says anything about you or your physique, let me know. I can't bear anyone saying anything inappropriate for you."

The firmness in her words while talking to me that day gave me so much confidence. 

That day I could understand what exactly is sisters love and how much she loves me and is concerned about me and my happiness 

Sometimes, even a single incident can tell you who really cares for you, and that day I experienced the same for my sister!!!!
