Thursday Thunders

The day was very cloudy. Monsoon has already set in. Drizzles and thunders all around. Of course, the heat has subsided but rains bring with them some issues like waterlogging, traffic jams associated with bad roads that urgently get spoilt during rains etc People who are working from home need not bother but people who have to compulsorily travel to Office for work do face troubles that are unavoidable nor tolerable. Yeh hai, Bharat Meri Jaan I heard someone saying this. I was watching television on the 9 pm news just now so much water logging amidst that a biker was pushing his two-wheeler as it had broken down, and a reporter who was covering that news item stops the person and questions him why are pushing his vehicle,? What happened? it was a very silly question but that gentleman was nice enough to reply to him that his vehicle had developed some technical problem. Felt so sorry for him not only for the technical issue with his bike but the silly question he had to answer. The pandemic has definitely made me a better cook, earlier I was not so frankly. Today I cooked chole bature for dinner and my children relished it and gave me a compliment it tasted almost restaurant like. Felt so happy. Monsoon showers have made the birds especially the peacocks sing with joy. There is quite a few of them around our locality that makes a very pleasant sound. Today I could offer rose flowers to gods and goddesses during the regular puja at home ( Thursday special)which was very satisfying for me. Stay home, stay fit and happy that is what we all can wish for each other. Pray to god it is the best way to stay calm amidst these trying times.
