Long long time ago, a king and a queen had a beautiful daughter named Rapunzel who had mesmerizing golden locks and twinkling green eyes. Rapunzel’s parents were unaware that their baby princess’s golden locks had magical healing powers whereas a selfish old woman named Mother Gothel knew of the magic in Rapunzel’s hair. She wanted to confine it to herself to retain her youth. She slyly kidnapped Rapunzel and kept her in a secret tower that was located deep amidst the brazen woods. Rapunzel often gazed out from the window longing to get out of there.

Once a young thief named Flynn Ryder stole something from the king’s castle and then tried climbing into the tower. Rapunzel noticed Flynn and knocked him out with a frying pan. Flynn was carrying a satchel which Rapunzel secretly inspected. After sometime Flynn found himself tied to a chair with Rapunzel’s golden hair.

Rapunzel told Flynn that if he took her to see the lights, she would return his satchel. Flynn agreed at once. Before Rapunzel’s feet even touched the grass, she burst with excitement. Flynn took Rapunzel with him to catch a glimpse of the floating lights which were shimmering lanterns. Rapunzel returned Flynn’s crown and the couple then gazed into each other’s eyes. They were falling in love.

Later, Flynn and Rapunzel were separated by Mother Gothel. Flynn then arrived to rescue Rapunzel. Mother Gothel hit Flynn with a spade as she wanted Rapunzel to stay with her. As a drastic next step, Flynn cut off Rapunzel’s hair and the hair lost its magic. Without the magic of Rapunzel’s hair, Mother Gothel’s body perished and she turned to dust. Rapunzel was now free from the clutches of the evil and selfish Mother Gothel. Unfortunately, Flynn was dying. He whispered to Rapunzel “You were my new dream!” Rapunzel heaved a sigh of despair.

One of Rapunzel’s tears fell on Flynn. The tear began to glow and heal Flynn. The king and the queen rushed to embrace their lost princess. That night the entire kingdom celebrated the return of their lost princess by a huge display of fireworks that sparked off the night sky.
