Favourite Friday

The weekend is here. After a hectic work schedule, people seem to just long to relax and get refreshed and mostly it begins from the night of Friday itself. Today a Vaccination drive was conducted in our Colony. The entire schedule was well planned and implemented. Covi shield was administered to around 300 people who had got their names registered. For me, Friday is special as I religiously pray to goddesses by offering flowers, fruits and other offerings. It of course takes time but offers spiritual solace to me. Today I even made sweet rice that I offered to mother goddesses. I recited many mantras and completed the ritual happily. The dishwasher will start its work from tomorrow as the required washing agents have been delivered online my husband got it done for me. My children will take care of the utensils washing program from now on, with the machine at their behest they are quite eager to do so. Nothing interesting in news for me today.GDP is down but stock markets are booming so it is in the green with some and red in other parts of our economy. A well-known economist from the US spoke about Demonetisation as the reason for the downturn of our economic growth along with covid adding to the woes. Wish everything becomes green of course other than envy(he he) and all of us will become Hale and hearty like always.
