Exquisite Beauty

Exquisite Beauty

I find some kind of exquisite beauty in MELANCHOLY.

It is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply.

Without uttering words, the air of melancholy upfronts its deep voice,

In the middle of this tranquil night, the scream of the ink is the only deafening noise.

The pen bleeds out words of the heart engulfed with torment.

Concurrently, the restless mindsets relentlessly lament.

Tonight, the ink is persuaded to pour out another poetry from the core of my heart,

On something that's really hard to gain and even harder to regain once it's lost; that's TRUST.

Trust is not just a five-letter word;

Its immense cause bestowing it ushers one to risk walking on something alike to an intimidating double-edged sword.

Trusting someone is really difficult after being repeatedly backstabbed.

But when hope finally tends to replenish my heart, it is found to be anew shattered.

When that trust is broken

Words often go unspoken.

Hereby comes that excruciating gnawing pain

When the heart interrogates, "Oh! Again?! "

Lately, too many broken promises;

And now the soul is impotent to take any more bruises.

Each time squandered trust imprints just another imperishable scar.

Though, consistently they help me to grow stronger.

Why do people change the exact time when you start considering them your 'Forever?

That makes it really distressing for my vulnerable heart to recover.

Perhaps now, it's the time to wave my debt,

As trusting for another time just yielded my regret.

Oh, I wish everything gets back to normal.

But this poor anguished fate keeps evoking those whilom events of afflicting betrayal!
