Wasp And Me

The sun shining high, bees humming mantras and flowers dancing

What a calm day, I thought. I was in my room drowning in the world of music, playing with the rainbow in the plain white canvas. Thoughts keep filling my mind as I put each stroke to the canvas. Brushes tried its best to help me and the strokes came out perfect.

What a perfect place. Yes it was a perfect place, but not for me but for the villian of the story "wasp".

He entered my room flapping making the buzzing loud sound as he could. It was loud enough to wake me up from my drowning self. It landed right before me. Leaving my fingers trembling. Yes, I know why my hands would behave that way. The past experience was enough to teach me how painful it's sting was. The small thrown leaves a sting which last for hours and hours. Brushes began to run as fast they could.

"Leave me alone" I shouted out loud. The music stopped as if it is asking me to get prepared. I took my earphones out my ears, left the brushes in the panel near by. Colours stared at me, they never knew the soldier in me, because they always dried out before I tell them my stories.

It flew across my room leaving me confused. " So you decided to fight? Get out of my kingdom," I shouted.

"No" it said with its humming wings. I took my pen out I know I could win as a pen in mightier than a sword. What could a little insect do. I waved my pen at it, it flew and hid behind the curtains. "I know, you......" It didn't allow me to finish my words it came out of the cave pointing his sword at me. I frozewith fear until I grabbed my courage and ran. I got out of my room ran to the kitchen and got my secret weapon. I returned back not as a soldier but more as a traitor. But it never mattered unless I win. "Where are you?" I shouted

"I know you are afraid. Come out!"

It came out charging towards me as if he conquered my kingdom a few hours ago. I took out my secret weapon. I knew it could have never predicted. He fainted at my window step, attacked with the insect spray.

" I won" I declared. He didn't spoke back because he no longer could. He tried his best to fly but he was already weekend by the spray. I sat at my chair taking back my throne and pride. "No one can invade me and my kingdom" I announced.

But I was wrong as the feeling of guiltiness filled my heart. Questions arise which I couldn't answer any longer. What if he just came for a visit? May be he had a desire to feel my painting. "Let's save him" my heart announced. I dipped my brush in the water and gave it, I washed of the spray but he didn't seem well. I took him in my hands and fed him some water with my own hands.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh....." I screamed, he stinged my little finger. It smirked at me. I heard my door bell. I couldn't control my anger I threw it out of my window. "Die you little traitor!".

I got down the stairs and opened the door. "Mom......", My mother stood confused seeing my teary eyes and my little finger raised. " What happened" she asked. "That little..." I couldn't finish my words will my mother ever realise the war I fought?
