Dear diary,

I'm not going to send this letter, because the postal service has stagnated. If I were sending it, I'd write that I hope it finds you in the pink of health. I really hope you all are staying safe. I realized a few things the other day, while I was writing in my journal, with coffee and soft piano music. I want you all to listen very carefully, because you all are very important to me.

I hope you make progress on all your projects, and that you dream a new dream or two during this time, but more than that, I hope you're able to see how love has continued to find you, and you still have the chance to give love, even though you feel isolated and helpless.

I hope you know that your posts on social media doesn't need to go viral and your words don't have to reach everyone before you realize what matters is this: you took the time to show up with love, care and kindness. Courage, and gratitude, that benefit someone even if they only ever reach a single person.

Because a year from now, you won't remember what you put on your checklist. You won't remember how all your moments were spent or which days were the most productive. What you will remember, though, is how you felt when you were loved and seen. You'll remember the people you got to show love to, even if it was from one side of a screen. You'll remember that through moments of restlessness, fear, anxiety and worry, it took strength, resilience and unity to make it through it all.

You'll realize that more than you want to be known for your accomplishments, you want to be known for the way you love. And how, when you chose to love, your strength becomes more than just your strength- it becomes the strength of all your loved ones. Every bit of work you do from that moment on will reflect it.

With an incalculable amount of love,

Anagha.
