On My Path To Being Fifty Years

My journey through these forty-nine years has had its ups and downs like all people around me. Looking back I should say that I am blessed with parents who brought me up on par with my brother. I was given all opportunities to excel in education and later allowed to work to my heart's content before considering marriage and children. I must say that I am a fortunate woman considering that I come from a traditional family. 

I married late and fortunately, my husband has been supportive of my working after marriage and childbirth. After all my working in offices, I decided to do some work in an NGO and then in a startup. All these endeavors did not quench to learn and do more. Right now I am pursuing my passion to learn music and help my son learn music too. Learning and adapting to changes has been my way of life and can say that it has given me a sense of fulfillment and success. 

In all these years, my experience has been that men in this world should be made to understand the likes and dislikes of women in their lives. This makes for a man growing up to be a more supportive and understanding husband, son, father, and brother to women in his life. 

Tradition mixed with modern thinking and outlook makes for both men and women to excel in their lives and be more harmonious to all people in the society too.
