Never Forget Us

I used to live my life like a free bird but got caged by Corona. Here is a tale of future kids meeting the ghost of a Corona pandemic girl.

Ria and Priya were best friends. Once returning from the school they decided to take another route to return home. In their class there was a rumour about a haunted hospital of We go by this route. So, both ria and Priya got excited and decided to explore. On the way, they saw the abandoned hospital. They got curious but decided not to go there. Their instinct told them not to go there today so, they did what they thought was right. but the next day, curiosity took over them and ran towards there after school with Raj, who is Ria's older brother. Raj had noticed that his little sister was acting a bit strange so, he asked ria. Ria on being asked told everything to her brother truthfully. Raj, himself being curious decision to go along with their plan. When they entered the hospital, there was a weird smell. It was disgusting. It smelled like rotten meat and expired drugs. They covered their noses with handkerchiefs and started exploring. The smell was really strong. Many people would probably run away at the smell. They saw each and every place. They saw drugs, syringes, masks, and so on in every room. It seemed as if everyone here was suffering from the same illness. ria then said " let's explore the upper floor " Raj replied "all right. But watch where you step " Priya was simply looking at the stairs while examing them if they were usable. After concluding that they were strong enough to let them go and return from the upper floor they started walking on them. On reaching the upper floor they saw the same things. The three of them were now going to see the last room. As soon as they opened the door they saw a girl sitting on the bed with a mask on her face who was looking outside the window. They ran towards her while keeping a distance at the same time and asked " hey, what are you doing? " She stared at them and said, " So you are the future children of the world " they got a weird vibe from her. Each and every part of her seemed creepy yet sorrowful.

She wore a tattered pale white robe with a mask and gloves in her hands. She had bottles on were wrist. Her face was beautiful yet very sickly. She seemed like she could break the second they touch her. The girl said " I am the remaining fragments of my soul . I stayed here to tell the future people to not forget the Corona pandemic and to prevent such a disaster from happening once again " after hearing her Riya asked with a raised brow " Are you a ghost? " She replied, " Yes, that is correct in a way " they stepped back, and then Priya said shocked" OMG! A real ghost!! " Followed by Raj "what do you want then? " She replied, " I just want to save the future and don't want the future generations to repeat the past mistakes we made " she smiled and said " you might have learned in your class about the Corona pandemic which happened decades ago. I am one of the billion people who died due to it. " We realized how sad her town had gotten. She told her story and the children realized how painful her life had been. Suffering for days and dying in pain. Staying in the house which felt like a cage. Life got upside down in only months and losing the ones you loved. Losing everyone you knew dying in suffering and agony. This was a Torture no one would want to go through. They couldn't help but cry at her story. They told her " We will do whatever we can do to prevent it . Please rest in peace " she smiled and said, " Thank you . I am blessed to meet you people . Please do save the people in your era " and disappeared into small golden fragments into the sky. These three children became the saviour who will save the earth from the future epidemic. In future, Ria became a very well known doctor while Priya became a crime police officer who catches every criminal as well as help the public. Raj decided to be a politician who guides the future and people hearts. The Life of these three children was changed within a few minutes by seeing the suffering of a young girl who was the same age as them when they met yet died in such misery. They decided to live a life for themself, for that girl and to save future lives!
