Match that came out of nowhere

It's a small story from my past, six years ago, when I was in 6th grade, the only aspect I was fond of was, searching and trying new things, it was a day in mid-April, our school was celebrating its annual sports meet and I took part in four games, the first being badminton, second cricket, third 100-metre sprint and the fourth game which I took part in, came from nowhere, I was doing good in cricket and I got recognition also, for I was the only player to hit a six for my team and took two wickets as well, in a match-winning effort, but the main incident which I want to point on, happened in the lunch break, my friend Sam who amassed the record of 10.5 seconds in the 100-meter race came to me and said " Mishra do you want to take part in the table tennis event, that is being held in the corridor next to our prayer ground, I said "yes let's do it", he replied, "ok then come with me" as we reached the spot, we greeted our coach sir, he asked me "are you sure you want to play" , I replied "yes sir", he said " ok then hold the racket" , I was laughing so hard in my mind, thinking that this is the first time I am holding a table tennis racket in my life and I am playing a match at this level, coach whistled and match started, at that time I didn't knew anything about Table Tennis, so when I got the chance to serve, I holded the racket with two fingers, I didn't even know how to hold the racket, the coach said " his stance looks so professional" and I was laughing so hard in my mind, I served the ball and tossed it over the net, coach said foul, I tried the same thing second time also, the coach was furious, as he said "have you ever tried Table Tennis in your life" I said "no sir" , in reply he laughed and said "I knew it", so the winner was by default my opponent, then coach called me and said "you want more practice in this game ok" I said "ok sir", and Sam was so surprised by this act, we both finished our lunch and laughed throughout the day till the 8th period, after school was over, he said why you didn't told me before the match that you can't play table tennis ,but in reply, I simply laughed, then after 2 days, three of my friends were playing table tennis and they wanted to play a mixed doubles match so they asked me to play and I agreed, I was astonished to see my growth in 1 week, I have became a master in table tennis and defeated all of my friends in the game and I was so happy that I have learned a new sport...😇😇 

moral of the story: things are quite easy until you do them on your own...
