Delhi ki sardi apne peak par thi. Harish Malhotra, ek 35-year-old IT professional, apne office TechDeal Solutions ke Connaught Place wale building ke 7th floor par baitha tha. Uske saamne ek bada glass window tha jahan se wo Rajiv Chowk ki rush bhari traffic aur metro station ki bheed dekh sakta tha. Har din jaise wahi ek cycle repeat hoti thi—emails, meetings, deadlines, aur phir ghar ka safar.
Harish apne kaam mein brilliant tha. Coding ka Picasso aur process improvement ka magician boliye. Usne apne 10 saal ke career mein kabhi deadline miss nahi ki, kabhi excuse nahi diya. Ek shaam, jab Harish apna laptop bandh kar raha tha, tab usne dekha ki uska junior, Rohit Kapoor, jise wo khud train karta tha, uska naam “Project Lead” ki list mein aa gaya tha. “Kya sirf achha kaam karna hi kaafi nahi hota? Kya main apni hi duniya mein itna khoya raha ki duniya ko kabhi dikhaya hi nahi main kya kar raha hoon?”
The Turning Point
Next Morning Harish ne decide kiya—“Aaj se main khud ko invisible nahi rehne dunga.”
Usne chhote-chhote steps lene start kiye:
Team meetings mein wo actively apne ideas present karne laga.Har project ke results ko email ke through leadership tak document aur highlight karne laga.Company ke internal knowledge-sharing sessions mein speaker ban kar apne solutions aur best practices share karne laga.Pehle-pahle logon ko ajeeb laga kyunki Harish hamesha ek “silent worker” tha. Par dheere-dheere log uski baat sunne lage. Directors aur VPs ko realize hone laga ki Harish sirf ek backend coder nahi, balki ek strategic thinker bhi hai.
Ek din TechAxis ke MD, Neha Bansal, ne townhall meeting mein bola:
“I want to recognize Harish for his outstanding contribution. The automation framework he built saved us nearly 1.2 crores annually.”
Poore auditorium mein taaliyan bajne lagi. Harish ke liye wo pal ek sapne jaisa tha.
From Invisible to Impactful
Aaj Harish TechAxis mein “Associate Director” hai. Connaught Place ki wahi building ke 7th floor pe uska cabin hai, par ab log usko door se dekh kar salaam karte hain.
Ek din uska junior Rohit uske cabin mein aaya aur bola,
“Sir, mujhe samajh hi nahi aata aapne yeh kaise kiya. Aap toh hamesha silent worker the, aur ab sab aapko role model mante hain.”
Harish halka sa muskuraya aur bola,
“Kaam karna zaroori hai, par apna kaam dikhana aur uski value samjhwana usse bhi zyada zaroori hai. Agar tum apni kahani khud nahi sunaaoge, toh koi aur sunayega bhi nahi.”
Delhi ki bheed bhari zindagi mein Harish ek example ban gaya tha—ki talent ke saath visibility bhi equally important hai.
