Tinku & His School

Tinku studies in class VII in St.Anthony's School in Mumbai. Nowadays due to the pandemic situation in the country, his school is closed. He studies through online classes on his mobile or personal computer. Last week his Social Studies teacher was affected by corona. As he is hospitalized, the Social Studies classes are not taking place now. All his friends and teachers are praying for the speedy recovery of Mr Gupta, his Social Studies teacher.

Tinku remembers vividly that how before two years everything was normal. He used to go to school daily with his friends in his cycle. During recess, they used to share their tiffins and play in the school's park area. He misses Golu's pasta and sandwich very much. He used to take part in a various quiz and essay writing competitions and win prizes! They used to play cricket, volleyball, Kabaddi, basketball, football in sports period and take part in various inter-house competitions. He sees his prizes and cups that he has own in basketball and Kabaddi in these competitions, daily and keeps it clean and shining.

Tinku prays to God that this pandemic gets over soon and his school reopens. Though everything would take a much longer time to come back to normal, at least he hopes that the coronavirus is controlled and the third wave is prevented.
