The land of Sindh, Indus Valley. Dr Naila Hina
There is magic in the land of Sindh, there is music in the air, and there is intoxicating peace in the water here. The ruins here are a mirror of the best cultures and civilizations of history. I love Sindh.
There is a strange harmony among the people here. The music picks up the tone from their existence, the colors are ripe in their shiny gold-like hue. The elders are oppressors, but it is impossible even to forget Pharaoh or erase him from the pages of history.
Their mansions are gold from the inside and sandy from the outside, like the Sindhi people. The golden rays from their gold-like hearts illuminate the existence of their soil.
Whether it is the Jam Canal of Sanghar /Nawab shah or the mango orchards of Mirpur Khas or the ancient graveyards of Thar or Mukli, there is fragrance between earth and sky. The beauty of folk culture in its absolute simplicity is a paradigm. Poverty is common. Religion is mostly Hinduism. And no education. The only difference is that the idols that the Hindus worship are made of clay, etc., and are inanimate, while the living beings are also worshiped here and also those who have died. Perhaps this is the charisma of their boundless love and sincerity which is both a model and a model to be imitated after purification. Everything here has an ideological distinction within itself and distinguishes Sindh from the world's nations. It can be celebrated individually and separately. Millions of acres of land lie barren and landowners are proud without cultivating it. They are more interested in gaining political advantage than in enjoying the benefits of nature. But it is this backwardness that keeps its Down to Earth simplicity and originality still alive. Like you are traveling on a page of history. Like Alice in wonderland, you will not be surprised, you will love Sindh immensely and you will want to be buried here. You may not find such peace even in the grave. Majnoon may not see such beauty in the form of Laila but this is the reality of Sindh!
