There was once a king in ancient Rome who was very noble and generous-hearted. There were no beggars in his kingdom. He was no unemployed people in his reign. All the subjects lived happily and praised the king for his superb administration.

Everyone expected the king to be very happy in general. However, it was not so. The king did not have a child even after ten years of his marriage. The king had everything, but the lack of offspring gave him much grief and trouble.

But good things do come in unexpected ways. One day his wife told him that she was not feeling well. The state physician was summoned. After examining the queen, the physician gave the couple the good news that the queen was expecting.

The king was overjoyed with happiness and thanked God to fulfil his wish. The queen delivered a healthy child in due course of time. And the king declared a national holiday on that day. And invited all his subjects for a grand feast in his palace at night.
