The Foolish Donkey

A salt seller used to carry his bags containing salt to the market every day.He had a donkey to carry the load.

On the way, they had to cross a small stream. One day the donkey tumbled and the salt bags also fell into the water.

The salt dissolved in water and the bags became light. This made the donkey happy.

The donkey decided to play the same trick daily. Every day the donkey knowingly fell into the water and made the bags lighter.

The salt seller understood this and decided to teach the donkey a lesson.

The next day the seller loaded cotton bags on the donkey. As usual, the donkey tumbled again on its way.But this time the bags became heavier! The cotton absorbed the water and thus became heavy.

The donkey could barely walk! From the next day, the donkey did not tumble in the water!

Moral: Luck would not favour always.
