A little girl named Sunita lived with her parents in Ooty. She studied in class six. She was smart and a wise girl.

Everyday she had to pass through a small forest while returning to her home. Normally she and her friend Dipika return together. But that day, Dipika had not gone to school. So Sunita had to return alone!

While returning she met a witch named Anamika. The witch seemed friendly and offered a rather unusual help to Sunita.

As Sunita was dark in colour, Anamika offered to turn into light colour. But Sunita rejected her offer and said that her skin color didnot bother her at all. And she took pride for being dark coloured!

She rejected each time the witch wanted to convince her!

At last the witch let Sunita go and went her own way.

The moral of this story is that we should believe in our self-worth. And that beauty cannot be defined by the colour of our skin!
