The Beached Missile

The year 1939,

Starting of World War Two,

The new missiles and machine guns welcomed Hungary base. The Government officials checked the quality and green-flagged them.

All the missiles reached the target they had been commanded successfully........except one........

The year 2019,

Chennai,

The Marina beach is the longest in Chennai and a beautiful one.

The evening sunset sent everybody home.

Mani was on his cycle, crossing Besant Nagar to Marina beach. He reached the spot and started his evening walk.

He reached the seashore and felt the soft waves from the sea to his toes. Suddenly, he felt something heavy hit on his toes. He bent and saw that horrific sight..........

A thirteen feet long missile!

He ran away from the spot and hoping to never think of it again.

Next day,

The television flashed in front of his eyes. It is a documentary about a missile from Germany in WWII, lost its way and fell in the ocean, Mani was intrigued as the Reporter said that it was thirteen feet long. Mani was shocked and knew what has to be done. Luckily, there will be cleaning going on the site he found it. He ran to his desk and started writing. Then, he ran to the nearby Police station.

Police station,

'' Too funny kid! You must have found a rock and mistaken it as a missile!''

''No sir! I found it! You must send the Bomb detecting squad now! now!''

The S.I felt for it. Maybe, he thought, the kid might be telling the truth. He thought for a minute, rang the bomb-detecting squad and took his Mahindra Scorpio to the spot.

Evening 5:30,

The missile was taken out carefully. The crowd around it, saw with awe as the missile was loaded on the truck. The S.I was shocked. He saw Mani. He was too, intrigued by the process. The missile was dangerous. One mishap and the Marina was a ruined one. The S.I wanted to thank him, but he felt it later.

Evening 7:30,

The missile was loaded in the airplane with great care, both structural and military power. Mani is in the air traffic base. The S.I reached him, congratulated and went on his Scorpio. Mani stared at the plane until it is out of his sight. Then, he caught a metro home. This 2-day incident recorded deeply in his life.

Meanwhile, in Germany,

The Plane reached safely. The German army received it and thanked the Indian army. The German people were still confused about how it got there,

But they thanked the Indian army anyway.
