Letters To Dad

One day, Liam Johnson, a six-year-old, was bored. Again! So, he decided to write a letter to dad, sitting just in front of him.

"Dear Dad,
I am very bored. Please amuse me.
Love, Liam"

"Dear Liam,
I am very sorry you are very bored. I would be happy to amuse you if I knew how. Do you have any suggestions?
Love, Dad"

"Dear Dad,
Thank you for being very sorry that I am very bored. Unfortunately, that does not make me any less bored. And if I knew of anyways for you to amuse me, I would surely have suggested them or have skipped that step altogether and simply be off amusing myself without needing your help.

"Dear Liam,
I see. Well, I shall have to think of something for you, then. How about you draw me a picture?
Love, Dad"

Liam pulled out a piece of paper, drew nothing but a simple, sad emoji and wrote "Me" below it.

"Dear Dad,
Still bored

"Dear Liam,
Your picture is very impressive, but it lacks detail. Would you like to add some?
Love, Dad"

"Dear Dad,
No.

"Dear Liam,
I see. Perhaps you could write me a poem instead.

"Dear Dad,
Mom is on patrol
Brother is snoring
All alone in England
Liam's life is boring.
Love, Liam"

"Dear Liam,
Mom will be back soon
Brother does not snore
Perhaps it is not England,
But Liam, who's a bore.
Love, Dad"

"Dear Dad,
That was incredibly rude of you. I thought you were nice but I was wrong. You were the one who taught me to be good but here we are.

"Dear Liam,
Instead of lecturing me on rudeness why don't you go and practice football, your coach said you needed practice.

How about you seek out Louis and ask him to teach you his new song? I have not yet heard it, myself, but I am told it is very nice.
