CHAPTER ONE

"Merry Christmas!" I greeted my dearest nemesis, Moon Knight. He responded by throwing a car at me. And I am the one who destroys city property. “Raven, take the money and run" I shouted to my trusted sidekick.

"It's Christmas, Cyclone," started Moon Knight as he levitated me into the air. "Let me enjoy one night!" Despite the circumstances, I was somewhat calm because this had happened before.

"How did I not get an invitation?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Oh, maybe cause I didn't send you one?"

"Then consider this your punishment."

Moon Knight groaned, clearly annoyed, and scanned the city, surveying the devastation we had wrought: the bank's roof had been blown open, and cars had been smashed.

"Look, dude, I'm broke, and I'm in desperate need of cash," I explained.

"Get a job, (villain name), that's what regular people do!" his emerald eyes sneered at me.

"This is a job!" I protested.

"It's not a job to blow up the city!"

"Come on" I sighed dramatically. "I don't even have to pay taxes!"

"All right, we're done” he stated before knocking me out. Luckily, I regained consciousness midair. One of the best parts about controlling soil is that you can control anything under it. I could feel the water supply pipelines. I wrapped my fingers and pulled. The city's favourite superhero was drenched in water. Ha. This gave me plenty of time to get down and run. I created a tunnel and my feet and jumped in, sealing it so no one could follow. Casually making my way back to my dorm, my mind wandered to Moon Knight.

CHAPTER 2

I leaned on my bed and scrolled through my phone, my feet on the table in front of me. The price on mine and Raven's heads had increased within 24 hours. People promised the public that their money was safe. No, it wasn't, and it's now in my sock drawer. "Investigators will catch him in no time," said Moon Knight next to the police, apologizing for his inability to catch me.

No time, as in never.

My phone rang, and the screen went black. It was Raven

"New phone who dis?" I asked, a grin on my face. I could hear her rolling her eyes.

"So I was shopping for dog armour."

"We don't even have a dog."

"Come on now, don't be a spoilsport. So I found this one, made of gold, lined with diamonds, do you want it?"

I let out a sigh. "Of course," You can be single or single with a gold and diamond armour for your dog….which you don't have. It was a relatively easy choice.

"Done", she replied as I walked out of my room.

I said my goodbyes and hung up the phone. When a girl with dark red hair passed, I elegantly extended my leg to trip her.

"Jerk!" She walked away with a scowl on her face.

That was when I remembered an epic party going on, and I was here, doing what? So I somehow found my way there.

I was given a drink as soon as I walked in. I'm not sure what it was, but it had a chocolatey flavour? Is it also minty? What exactly is this?

I got up after playing around with people. The gym was littered with half-eaten pizza pieces, cups, and chicken wings. I reached for a slice of pizza, but the task became too much for me, and I nearly fell backward.

Someone catching me said, "Be careful." A man appeared before me, and I was a dreaded villain. He was stunning, with emerald eyes and beautiful blonde hair.

"Axel," I responded, reaching out my hand.

"Curtis," he said, shaking his hand. "A pleasure" that's the last thing I heard before blacking out.

CHAPTER 3

I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. The bed was comfy, though. But it smelled of orange and vanilla.

"I see you've woken up," said a man I had no recollection of. "Are you all right?"

"What-" I said as I stood up. "What happened last night?"

"Don't panic, but I believe you've been drugged."

"What?" I got out of bed at once.

"Not by me!" exclaimed the man, raising his hands. "I know all the evidence points to me, but I wasn't the one who did it."

Drugged? I was drugged? I was a supervillain? How could I get drugged at a party? If anything, I'm the one supposed to do that kind of stuff.

"And why should I believe you?"

"Why should I believe you?" I asked. I did believe him, but it was fun to mess around.

"Uh?" He looked like a deer in headlights. "I promise?"

"I'm a really kind man," he added deftly.

"That's exactly what a villain would say!" Except for me, that is.

He was now visibly agitated. "Right. You are correct. "No one's ever asked me to... verify that... before," he shuffled his feet. Uh... I'm not sure how to prove it. Because I had no idea where you lived, I brought you here."

"Is there anyone who can attest to it?"

"Uh... Look, Axel, I know this looks bad but I didn't do anything!"

"Hmm..." My arms were crossed over my chest. "How did you figure out my name?"

"Last night you told me!" He sounded agitated. "... I know what this looks like, but... I promise, okay?"

Before I could stop myself, I burst out laughing.

He had a shocked expression on his face. "Are you... laughing at me?"

As I nodded, I wheezed.

"So yeah," I said, "I'll be making my way back to my dorm. Bye!" Curtis's jaw was hanging low as I waved and walked out of his room.
