India is a secular country, it has distinct religions and different cultures and arts. India was independent on 15th August 1947. This was the time where everyone from the little child to old people was ready to sacrifice themselves and their lives for their country from the rule of Britishers. Like many freedom fighters Mahatma Gandhi, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabh Patel one them was Bhagat Singh. He was truly an inspiring legend. His love for the nation was beyond any limits. Bhagat Singh was born in 1907 at Banga village, Lyallpur district in Lahore which is located in Pakistan. His mother's name was Vidyavati Kaur and his father was Kishan Singh. He refused to join British school instead he joined D.A.V school ( Dayanand Anglo Vedic). He was very smart and intelligent that in his school time he read 50 books. He read varieties of books like political, social, economic. He has laser-sharp focus. His concentration power is very high. He is an effective listener. He listens selectively. The feeling of freedom is filled in his mind. 13th April 1919, the Jalianwalah bagh incident happened. Thousands of people lose their lives to get freedom. He went there through walking in anger. When he reached there and saw that place it reminds him of all those horrific moments in which people were brutally shooter and killed all those voices of crying, fighting was sounding in his ears. At that time he decided to take revenge for all the innocent citizens who were killed by Britishers. In those times Mahatma Gandhi became famous he was leading the movement against Britishers with all his followers. He started the non-cooperation movement because violence was against his principles.


The main objective of this movement was to boycott British goods and services and use Indians' goods and services. Bharat Singh was influenced by Gandhi and he decided to join the non-cooperation movement. He also read foreign books. He was very affected by chauri- chakra movement. And he made a group with other people with the same goal. He joined Lalalajpat college Pakistan and read a total of 200 more books. When his mother asked him to marry he was just 17. He refused to marry and told his mother that his only goal is freedom. And he flew away from home. He joined the kakori movement. And after caught by British police. In the court, Bhagat Singh but got bail. He was so brave that he didn't fear death. He was a good writer so he used to write for newspapers. He joined the Simon Commission at the request of Lalalajpat rai but they were brutally beaten by British police and due to this incident, Lalalajpat rai died. He took revenge for Lalalajpat's death by killing the general of Britishers. He then surrenders to British police and then influences and fought against Britishers in jail. He was a great book lover. His last wish was to finish the book which he was reading. His actual death day was 24 March 1931 but he was hanged on 23 March 1931. He was a true legend. He was so brave that he died with a smile on his face. 'Inklab zindabad!'
