It was a fine sunny day. The freshly mowed grass was laying forward in front of Franklin Palace. "Georgie, wake up dear, breakfasts ready," shouted Mrs. Franklin from the kitchen. "Amy, let him sleep. It's just ten in the morning right now and today I guess he doesn't have school," said Mr. Franklin coming to the breakfast table. George woke up and got ready. He rushed down to the breakfast table," Good morning, mommy and daddy !" "Good morning, Georgie dear," replied Mr. and Mrs. Franklin. George Franklin was the son of Edwin Franklin, the richest businessman in England. George lived with his parents in Franklin Palace which was estimated to be the biggest and most expensive house. It had all the luxuries which one might have never imagined of. Franklin Palace was rumoured to be the living heaven.

"Georgie, dad and me are going to a business meeting in Birmingham and Edward would stay with you," informed Mrs. Franklin. Mr. Franklin added," Also you will need to take care of Max." "Okay dad, okay mom," replied George. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin took of for the airport in their car and departed in a private jet. George called his friends and played with them in the garden which was laying in front of the house. They swimmed, watched movies, danced and had fun all day. George being exhausted, slept immediately after supper.

Next day when George woke up, he was terrified by seeing people throwing stones at his house. He was dumbfounded by these actions. He went down and asked Edward what happen. Edward didn't say anything and switched on the television. The reporter on the TV said Mr. and Mrs. Franklin's plane had crashed last night at four near Manchester hill. After the crash, they were shot dead by their pilot named Jack Thompson. The police reached the place of crashed after fifteen minutes and both of them were declared dead immediately. George was devastated by this news. He was petrified and sat still on the sofa. Edward shook him and George heard another calamitous news. As per the medical records and lawsuits, George Franklin wasn't the real son of Edwin Franklin. He was adopted at the age of two. Thereby, Central Bank of Liverpool has decided that all the possessions, money, properties and business of Edwin and Amy Franklin would be provided to George Franklin.

It is rumoured that the dangerous gang The Shadows have been in search of secret safe of Edwin Franklin which holds the most precious things in world and just George Franklin knows where is it. George cried whole day. He didn't even wasn't able to sleep at night and whenever he closed his eyes, he saw his late parents. Next day, he woke up in a dark gloomy room. His hands and legs were tied and his mouth was kept shut with a napkin. His face was badly bruised and all over his body were the marks of cane which he was beaten with.

He tried to untie himself and cried for help but no one was visible or audible far far away. It seemed like he wouldn't be able escape this darkness and would die here. However, his fate wanted something else. A torch shone in distance and the light was coming near. Finally, he was able to see the shadows of three hooded figures standing in front. He saw one figures going in the corner where Edward was been tied. One figure approached towards him and lifted him up. The figure which was standing in middle still stood there and it seemed like he was the leader of the group.

The leader shouted ."Where is the safe ?" George replied,"I...I don...don't know." "Don't lie ! You are the only one who knows where is it !" "I swear, I don't know it." The hooded figure beated him with iron rod this time and George was at the verge of death when he told," Wait..Wait, I..am..telling, can you first take me to the Franklin Mansion again, the safe is there only." They took Edward and George with them to the Franklin Palace. George was sure that this was The Shadows gang.

The figures were whispering to each other that now we are going to be a lot rich. When they opened the safe, it was a whole room with all the childhood frames of George and his parents. There were all George's toys and other memories of Franklin family. The figure yelled, "What is all this nonsense? Tell where is the money !" Another figure hit George on leg and George fell. The figure bawled,"You little brat, don't try to fool us !" They took out their guns and aimed at George and Edward when Max jumped out of the blue on the head of the figure and scratched his hair of. All George's friends rushed in with baseball bat, helmet and other equipment and attacked the gang. After a while, police came and arrested the gang.

George thanked all of his friends and patted Max. George realised that the hooded figure was Jack Thompson, the murderer of his parents. He said to him,"Money isn't everything, materialistic things ruin one's life. The richest man even can't survive without family and friends. Remember family and friends are the real treasure of one's life and never try to steal them."

Later after George grew up, he named his two sons Edwin and Max and his daughter Amy after his father, mother and his dearest dog who saved his life that night. George fulfilled his father's dream of being the richest man ( from money as well as from relationships ) in the world. George Franklin's name was written in gold after his death.
