Garden

Rohit and Raj studied in class V in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sambalpur. Both were good students and grasped their lessons well. One day their science teacher taught them about our planet Earth and the bare necessity to take care of Her. She said that she is our mother as she takes care of all of us just like a mother; she gives us food, clothes, houses and everything!!

Both Rohit and Raj were very influenced by it. Raj had a barren stretch of land behind his house that belonged to them. But was not used. Both decided to convert it into a garden!

Both started planting mango, guava, coconut trees there. Everyday they watered the plants. Soon the saplings started growing up!

Slowly and steadily the plants started growing up into trees. By the time Rohit and Raj went to their tenth standard, their garden was ready and there were grown up mango, coconut, guava, banana trees!!

Both were proud of their work and also their parents were happy that they did a good job!!
