Farmers Market

Yes, each word speaks truth Abp news is trying very cunningly to tackle their views always alleging or manipulating farmers as they are against the government, they will give up the protest. Some news channels are cunning like government in parliament because how can they blame farmers without reasons they r terrorists or anything. Jai jawan, Jai Kishan, then if Jai jawan starts protesting who will save the country from terrorists, Khalistan formation they allege to kissan if jawan protest then emergency military rule or president rule will be declared. This government system of democracy will be collapsed into the dictatorship of definitely army men. Judiciary will also lose authority over democratic republic government. So allegations are easy to make, the government should negotiate with kissan or farmers who are also politically highly educated, they have their dignity, identification, adhar card, voter card and ration cards. After all, this government has produced so many cards only ayushman, kissan so many cards and yojnas nothing else. They know kissan only make us survive, our survival during the pandemic time. They are not terrorists, they are Hindustani Indian citizens not Pakistani or Chinese. Barricade, nails fence are so ridiculous mockery defensiveness against kisans. Can we barricade parliament house when any session will be going on anticipating or guessing any terrorism or physical attack on ministers themselves where as sometimes it happens like a war field, verbal attacks of words, shouting throwing temper tantrums so many things we have witnessed the parliamentary sessions?

Mahua Moitra is boldly challenging CC tv to capture her speech as members pay tax, anyway she alleged and challenged the government as using police force power to control or restrain the farmer's protest but it is pity that cowards or cowardice activities, cowardice sentiments are the greatest ignorance of stubbornness of arbitrary undemocratic rule only nothing else.

Government will not achieve anything from imprudent stubborn monopoly attitude of empowerment using government authority or bureaucracy in the name of police force, barricade fence etc brutality dominates over ethics or morality. This government shows so many courageous activities like emergency declarations arrogantly in the name of democracy secularism republic etc which yielded very bad consequences as GST, demonetization, emergency lock down bringing economy, inflation GDP all to low label now and future too. This government has created discrimination enhancing racism creating differences in citizens citizen amendment bills, lot of discriminations in fundamental rights of citizens, no documents of citizenship act can prove it nor it can prove till 2022 in census files or data. They say they are courageous foolishly, big mockery cowards, fraudulent and jokers they are.

My question is whether farmers protests can have an impact on Odisha farming or agricultural sectors where farmers really need the protection of laws or policies which have been kept pending for changes of farmers' demands before the laws are passed in parliament. Farmers want a fixed MRP minimum fixed sale price or support price to be determined by the Food federation who are first direct traders of all food sellers. They demand the confirmation of farmers laws by industrialists or government itself, ministry of food and agricultural department, they must settle the conflicts in high courts not under government authority only. The fixed minimum price should not be changed by any other committee or big traders in conspiracies. Some laws legal notice , insurances of agricultural products they do not believe or agree so easily as BJP government is trying to force them to agree on the laws only through confrontations and agreements. Laws can be amended in future if it is not suitable or in favour of farmers. They work so hard to harvest agricultural products bearing so much risks hazards and loss .They cannot preserve or stored or refrigerate for a long period. They have seasonal harvestings. Now the crude products or raw materials are processed, refined then the big markets estimate the retailed price of the agricultural products converting to various refined food products to be sold in the markets or they are exported to foreign countries through private and corporate organizations too. Now some states are very flourishing rich in agricultural production as well as making refined food products packets, frozen food materials like corn, vegetables, pickles, juices, jam, various masala, papad, napkins, bakery,  sweets, various refined oil, chips and milk products diary products too, non-vegetarian products in frozen packed processed way all. They make ready to cook bake and eat. States like Haryana, Gujarat, Punjab Rajasthan, UP, Andhra, Kerala, yes they are extremely good in agricultural products, they have established reputed food manufacturing branded companies to sell their products all over India and abroad. So the farmers of those states obviously will go for agitation.

Farmers or private agro companies who are not so famous for highlighting or selling their brands in agricultural markets all over India and abroad too are not supporting farmers agitation or protest so strongly. Anyway, Odisha has all the raw materials in the agricultural field what I surveyed through my observation is what should they do?

One thing in this struggle or protest of farmers, the system goes in four stages, one the hard-working farmers who produce food, they do not have their own lands to cultivate but they work under other land lords as paid workers, they do not have any document of land tax etc, 2nd group is land lords who produce their harvesting agricultural goods, they can run mandi markets being the members of farmers federation, 3rd group is traders dealers of vegetable mandis who buy the agricultural goods from 2nd group of small farmers or big farmers, they have transport facilities, they carry goods from mandi markets to various places, various states. They deal directly with big companies. They can store the food in refrigeration for a long time. 4th group is big dealers whole sale retailed markets, high grade big companies like Ambani, Adani super market like reliance , Tata, trends star Bazar, Nandini etc They can use food processing capacity at large spectrum. They have had large food preservation refrigeration facilities for a long time. They can store goods for a long time.

They have various processing units so that they can raise the maximum price to the consumers according to their advantages. These big industrialists can do monopoly in consumer markets, trade markets. They export their agricultural products to various countries. Some foreign collaborations worked with them efficiently for a long time like McCain Foods (India) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of McCain Foods Limited in Canada. Since 1998, McCain has been engaged in agriculture R&D and in the development of frozen food markets in India and subcontinent countries. McCain products are used by leading fast-food chains, hotels, restaurants, catering companies and are popular for in-home consumption.

At McCain, it's our constant endeavour to create good food, we strive to use the highest quality ingredients.

Nestle India supply abroad to invest more in dealings like Cadbury suffice the demand to all countries distributing in 160 countries, India is the largest supplier of coco and coffee, the largest supplier of coffee production, yes we feel proud for Nestle India Ltd.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Mondelez India Foods Private Limited has sales offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai and manufacturing facilities at Induri (Maharashtra), Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh), Baddi (Himachal Pradesh) and Sri City (Andhra Pradesh), in addition to a global Research & Development Technical Centre and Global Business Hub in Maharashtra and a vast distribution network like this many international companies, exist in their own ways flourishing the world economy. Yes, India is the largest producer of diary milk products, milk cooperative federation, like mother diary products, Amul India diary products, states milk cooperative, Nestle coco products, cotton, hand loom textiles, tea, coffee, various masalas, coconuts, sesame, mustard, comes, potatoes sugarcane, fishes. Our traders, retailed sellers, export all these to foreign countries through navy and other transportation. Whatever oil crudes we export from other countries, they are processed in India, many big oil companies work in collaboration with foreign companies. The main thing, all agricultural good prices should be marginal, the minimum concessional rate in India then it should be the high rate in abroad. Our people should get all agricultural goods sufficiently without variation. The market is categorized among various labels highly refined processed in supermarkets or inferior un processed quality variation in prices.

Nestle India supply abroad to invest more in dealings like Cadbury suffice the demand to all countries distributing in 160 countries, India is the largest supplier of coco and coffee, the largest supplier of coffee production, yes we feel proud for Nestle India Ltd.

The main thing, all agricultural good prices should be marginal, the minimum concessional rate in India then it should be the high rate in abroad. Our people should get all agricultural goods sufficiently without variation. Some states support farmers openly opposing the government in the centre. Yes, it is one political mode, a crisis between farmers and industrialists. In real the farmer's organizations from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhyapradesh do not support passing such a type of diplomatic political bill in the parliament.

It is not only the voice of farmers but one voice of traders middlemen who run the farmers mandi market where the price of harvest or labour of the farmers gets real value or real price in minimum MRP rate. Small farmers are benefited directly through mandi market or 2nd party traders. Once the bill is rectified the farmers can reach to the whole salers or food processing companies directly to sell their products in mandi yard or huge markets where the industrialists preserve the food materials like grains wheat maize, corns, various dals pulses, vegetables and fruits to be stored in their preservative refrigerated storage for a long time. Here the retailed whole salers or super markets want to preserve the agricultural goods in their market for a long time to sell in proper time when the price of the commodities are enhanced with the raising demands of the consumers. So the industrialists or food processing companies like Ambani, Adani Tata Trent reliance can sell the products at more price in off-seasons also.

They can preserve food materials for 6 months or one year in a form of processed food like tomatoes ketch up, leher aloo chips, aloo bhurjia so many types of snacks items too.

Various types of fruits pulps, sweet muraba jam, juices like Pepsi, Tropicana, mango orange, guava, litchi apple, juices. They make so many types of cooking oil from various oil seeds like mustards, sesame, rice bran, sunflower, coconuts and peanuts. They make so many

types of hair oil through oil factories and labs like almonds, coconuts, walnuts, Amla and sesame hair oil. So many types of frozen food items like preserved corns, green peas, peanuts are sold for a long time. Many types of sweets with jaggery, sugarcane and sugar like chikkies are preserved. The floor industries like Annapurna, MDH, Pillsbury sell wheat floors. Masala companies like Everest, MDH, bedekar sale their masalas preparing in food companies.

The main thing all raw materials are sold in mandi at an auction rate. The farmers federation or traders buy raw materials directly from farmers to sell in mandi Bazar or market to the big industrialists only. So the middlemen traders or markets are license holders or owners of their lands who used to do farming or harvesting in their own agricultural fields so farmers are employees of their lands whom they give lands for cultivation.

They have no authority or license like original documents of their own lands in land registration "tahasil office". They do not give tax or revenue for their lands, so the real land lords can make trading directly to the big industrialists reaching there in other states where they can get more price of their commodities.

Now the picture or scenario of poor farmers does not come. Where do they exist?? It is a mystery riddle big political game between political parties and industrialists. Poor farmers never get privileges or benefits through such types of politically motivated policies. we can expect changes in future. This type of revolution or revolutionary protest can bring changes in future. Farmers were alerted or aware of such policies

Hence they can manipulate or influence the big supermarkets to buy their goods at their doorsteps directly ignoring or

overlooking the middlemen traders or mandi Bazar but it is a very difficult task for them. They get facilities to sell their goods breaking monopoly system of some reputed brands or food products, for example, masala Haldi powder, jeera, dhania, mustard, methi, soamp, garam masala powder which are prepared so efficiently in some states which lose importance or magnificence to be sold in other states, their popular brands.

Why I am giving emphasis on this because khandamala Haldi powder a special brand prepared by tribal villagers of Odisha should be sold in other states being categorized by reputed food processing companies or supermarkets like trends or reliance or spar star Bazar. Some states like Rajasthan, Gujrat, Haryana are so advanced or technologically flourished that most of the manufacturing companies purchase raw materials directly from them, some food processing and refrigeration storage systems are excellent in those states. They make all famous brands of masalas, pickles, murabba, papads like odekar, Ambedkar Everest Kisan tomato sauce and mango jam.

Their brands are famous sold in all super markets all over India. Mostly the marketing manufacturing companies are established in Mumbai, Gujrat, Haryana and Rajasthan. So many types of snacks items like bikkaner, haldiram, leher and Pepsi are branded companies set up main companies in gurgaon, gandhigram Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Mostly wheat production like Jay bharat, JJ they make their branded wheat floor in MP, punjab, Haryana and Uttarpradesh. They are majore suppliers of wheats maize, corns pulses muttor, dal even black grams, tur dal, mung dal are more harvested in Andhra, Odisha and Bengal . Rice and coconuts are more supplied in Andhra Tamilnadu Kerala and Odisha.

Karnataka is major supplier of garam masala and coffee. Assam is majore supplier of tea. Yes now some companies like tea, coffee and masals are branded by Tata and Birla who manipulate such harvesting in their branded names from the respective states. Rice companies like sri sai , balaji, sri laxmi those are branded manufacturing rice processing companies who sell their goods all over India.

Coconut crude oil, sesame oil are also mostly manufactured in Andhra, Kerala and Telangana more. They are marketed in Mumbai. Parle g, Britannia Pepsi those companies manufacture biscuits, cracks so many snacks items in various states to suffice the snacks items to people. Their head offices are in Mumbai. Then most of the oil companies exist in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Haryana. Companies like ambani adani groups dominate in oil products all over India. Sugar factories we see in Maharastra, major producer of sugar. The main thing, tata, trends, reliance, star Bazar, spar they make their branded names like tata products collecting all local products from various states which facilitate the states small agro manufacturing private industries to highlight their products gaining more commercial deals or money.

The small industries should be encouraged highly by the state government too. Then other fields like handloom cotton,

fabric industries prosper n various states in their local original brands. Then comes nonvegetarian sea food, poultry farms, fish frozen food, many companies like venkeys swasrik which prosper in nonvegetarian foods in various supermarkets of India. Many states export their nonvegetarian foods to foreign countries. So we can observe that Indian farmers harvest their agricultural products, they supply their food items to various big branded companies who sell the crude food materials through various food processing companies manufacturing companies to be marketed in big supermarkets or big cities of India. All can get the food stocks sufficiently being distributed in all states all over India. Farmers should be paid or privileged for their efforts and cultivation.
