FANTASY FROLICS: EPISODE 5

The guardian just gave us a icy glare and she waved her hands. A bridge made up of ice appeared. "You all need to walk along the ice bridge. Then, when you look down, you'll see various numbers. Choose in the numerical order. You have to complete all five of them. Who's up first?" She explained. Kiya volunteered to go first. We wished her luck. She smiled and walked towards the bridge. Even if she wore shoes, the material wasn't enough to keep out the cold. Kiya's feet shivered. "Come on Kiya! You can do it!" Julia cheered. Wait a minute....was Julia cheering? Wow! I mean I couldn't believe it! Those two are always bickering like small kids! I smiled at her. "What? It's just for our mission. Okay? I am not like starting to enjoy that Kiya." She said, rolling her eyes. I just laughed at her. Kiya crossed the bridge. Then, she jumped onto number one. We couldn't see her physically. A bright light had flashed across our eyes, and Kiya got transformed into an another room. A big rock, which was nearby, suddenly started to display Kiya's activities. 

THE FIRST ADVENTURE(KIYA)- Kiya had to solve a game of chess with an invisible opponent. Turn by turn, the invisible opponent's pieces devoured my friend's pieces. She seemed confused. But, in the end, Kiya easily shouted, 'Checkmate!' Julia and I gave each other a high-five. Automatically, the second test appeared. 

THE SECOND ADVENTURE(KIYA)- The next test was horrifying. Kiya had to go from one pole to another, but through a rope. Seriously, these guys can't even have mercy on little kids. Okay, I know we're not little kids, but still. The rope was very thin. 

Kiya was shaking like a leaf. She was scared and we were too, but this wasn't the situation with the guardian. She had made herself comfortable by sitting on an icy throne. Wait. Didn't she feel cold? Anyway. 

Kiya was trying to hold tight on the rope. But, she was very scared. 

She was very close to the other pole but just then, disaster struck. Yes, another one. The rope broke! Shucks. 

But, then, by God's grace, Kiya didn't lose spirit. She climbed on to the pole, and left the rope, she climbed and climbed and climbed. 

And she safely stood to the ground!

Kiya was ready for the next test, but the guardian rose from her throne. She announced, "No more tests. I am so overwhelmed. You could've given up or even panicked. But I am so happy after I have seen your courage! Very good. I have decided that you three girls don't have to pass anymore tests. I am convinced! I'll give you the special object!"

I was so proud of Kiya. I gently patted her on the back. But, Julia just yawned and ignored her. Those two can never get along!
