Beauty with flaws

Me: Why are you so beautiful?
Moon: Because I’m far away from you.

Me: You know you’re everyone’s dream. People admire you; they wish to be close to you.
Moon: Can I ask you something?

Me: Sure.
Moon: What do you like about me?

Me: Of course, your beauty.
Moon: And what if you find out I’m not as beautiful as you’ve believed?

Me: Mmmm…
Moon: What happened? I already know your answer. You won’t like me if you truly get to know me.
Everyone thinks I’m beautiful from a distance. But once you come closer and see my scars, you’ll regret your choice. So it’s better not to come close to me.

Me: So you’re not beautiful?
Moon: I don’t know. When people say they like me, I feel happy… but when I look at myself, I feel like I’m not as beautiful as everyone says. Maybe I’m just overhyped.

Me: Who told you no one knows about your flaws? We all do—and we still accept you. You’re not the only one with imperfections; we all have them.
But that doesn’t make you any less beautiful. In your case, it makes you even more special. You’re the prettiest just the way you are, so be proud of yourself.
