A Student's Speech On Water?

A Student's Speech On Water?

"A student's life is one of the most difficult yet creative life. Thousands lost their life not working hard enough during those times. Thousands created histories, change the future, and saved lives. A student's mind is most creative." were the only thoughts going on in Sameer's head as he groaned when his teacher dumped more homework on his head.

Days passed, months come, and years went by.

Now, Sameer is in 7th Standard.

Top of the class. Best in academics, best in sports, and giving wise advice. A perfect role model student.

The world never stops judging you even if you do your best. People will never stop expecting better things. That's human nature, yet people get frustrated with those who help others challenge themselves.

Sameer was one of those who took those expectations as a challenge.

~~~Flashback~~~
"Woohoo! Woohoo! I am eight today." Cheering all around the house, Sameer went down the stairs and sat near his grandfather.
"Grandpa! Grandpa! I am eight today. Did you know today is the day I can do magic?"
Laughing, ever so slightly at Sameer's childish, nature "Oh! Sameer. Who told that to you?"
Sameer bounced, "Rohit, my eldest cousin, told me that."
"Well, my dear grandson. Let me tell you a secret. You can do magic at any age. It is a wonder that a child is always the one to write the future, make histories, and change the world. See the world with the eyes of a child and you will see wonders!"
"One-day Grandpa I will do something to save the world with magic, one day."
Chuckling slightly, "Sure, you will Sameer."
~~~End of Flashback~~~

Years passed, Sameer waited for an opportunity. An opportunity to prove to himself that those words for his grandpa were true. That magic can happen in the wildest way anyone can ever imagine. When the opportunity arrived he grabbed it instantly.

Today, he was going to make a speech about water sanitation and the importance of education, hygiene, and health issue at living, working, and any public places.

"In 2010, the UN General Assembly recognized access to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation as a human right and called for international efforts to help countries to provide safe, clean, accessible and affordable drinking water and sanitation.

The question arises, why should it be a human right? Why should accessible and affordable drinking water and sanitation be important?

Dirty waste water and excrement must be fully conveyed in sewers to treatment places. In no case, they should spread outside since it will spread infection and disease. This is the basic public and private health issue at living, working, and any public places.

There have been considerable studies that have examined the effect of water treatment, hygiene, and sanitary practices on reducing diarrhea, and acute respiratory infections in school-age children. Having clean water and sanitation means being able to avoid exposure to countless diseases.

Now, the next question that comes to our mind is,

Why is water sanitation so important?

Every year, millions of people die from diseases caused by inadequate water supply, sanitation, and hygiene. Poor sanitation and unsafe water cause nearly 20% of workplace deaths.

8,27,000 people in low- and middle-income countries die as a result of inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene each year, representing 60% of total diarrhoeal deaths. Poor sanitation is believed to be the main cause of some 432 000 of these deaths.

Diarrhea remains a major killer but is largely preventable. Better water, sanitation, and hygiene could prevent the deaths of 297 000 children aged under 5 years each year.

If citizens of any place are aware of the importance safe, clean, accessible, and affordable drinking water and sanitation,

These deaths may reduce and fewer health issues will arise.

Even the smallest act of caring is like another person is like a drop of water, it will make ripples throughout the entire pond.

Thank you..."
