Why......?

Why will our parents be happy about our birth?

Give me one genuine justification O cruel world.

Why would they wholeheartedly snicker?

When they know the consequence of our future.

Rapes and kidnapping taking the toll,

And then murdering and burning our souls once and for all.

Tell me the reason why our parents will rejoice?

When domestic violence taking the swirl, leaving with no choice.

Tell me why our parents will want to educate us,

When our teachers and professors have eyes filled with lust.

Tell me one reason why our parents will support us to work,

When POSH, cases exist, firms filled with several perverts.

Tell me one reason why our parents, not worry,

When during our marriage, they have to pay a ransom dowry.

Tell me when would are parents be relieved,

From the fears, and concerns about their daughter's chastity.

They are not worried about her characters, O cruel earth,

The fear of demons and wolves disguised as humans,To whom their angels fall prey, this thought triggers.

We are dying inside O brothers Of our nation,

"Will we be next?" This fear engulfs us and our houses, killing our vigor.

So, now tell me society, why will a daughter's family be happy welcoming her,

When there is the uncertainty of her whiff surrounded by enormous negativity.
