Animality

I was wandering in the forest,

Carrying my baby bump I strode flawless.

Every day I felt blessed to have you in my womb,

I prayed for your safety and awaited for you to bloom.

 

One day searching for food, 

I shoved into the human's room.

They were angels in disguise,

Offered me my favorite sustenance to dine.

Ravenous and exhausted,

I gulped up the nourishment.

Being pregnant is not so effortless,

You have to munch to cram two abdomens.

As I chewed I didn't found the flavor good,

It was due to pregnancy I had understood.

I galloped towards the river, 

I couldn't fling it, the yearning was a metaphor.

After a few moments, I was in despair,

It started exploding like bombs and crackers.

My jaws bled, oozed and the misery was unendurable.

My fetus called me from inside,

"Ma, is everything fine and settled."

I was losing my gust,

Still fought like a warrior till last.

I wasn't anxious about me,

But worried about life ripening in my essence.

I succumbed to death after a few hours,

Accepted my doom and abode toward the stars.

We were in heaven(mummy elephant and baby), roaming as free birds we gave an opinion, 

"Good, we didn't hurt any humans", in this case, Almighty wouldn't beget us pardoned.

         I am anguished by this inhumane act. Cruelty against animals is not accepted. The criminals should be punished in the same way I guess.
