Water in Eternal Hamster Wheel
Water in Eternal Hamster Wheel
Poor water runs clean and smooth,
Carrying the burden of timeless memories,
Until it reaches the ocean,
And bursts into roaring laments,
Of echoes from the beginning of time to now;
It keeps trying to forget the past,
To change its form and to leave the earth;
Tries evaporating as air but gets trapped as cloud
And again hits the ground on an eternal cycle
Trapped in the sphere...
As we have only limited time,
To serve the Karma trapped in the planet;
Yet we crib about the tiny known part,
And find ways to escape the sphere...
Shamelessly shedding our memories,
In droplets and adding more burden to the water!
Everyday we take bath to wash away
Our previous day's sweat and dirt
With the transparent sediments of eras,
To feel the freshness - what an Irony!
